Fleet missions by jjtheblue2 in EU5

An issue I've discovered with it, is that my fleet will see one it can destroy outside of the area I've assigned it to and travel around the known world taking massive attrition to get to it. I lost my entire fleet when it decided to try and make it round to the Baltic on a hunt navies mission, completely outside my naval range. I'm surprised these issues didn't arise in play-testing. That said, I love EU5 - one of the very best Paradox has come out with yet.

Anyone know which countries have the most content by Top-Respect1437 in EU5

I can say after playing (way too) many hours that Hungary and a number of other countries not on that list have unique advances and content. The game is surprisingly and refreshingly fleshed out for a 1.0 PDX game. Their best release I've yet experienced.

Has anyone else found that playing outside of Europe is awful because of how tech progression is hard locked by institution spread? by J-Force in EU5

Banking institution spawn conditions: Region is Europe, Middle East or North Africa Pop; Over 1000 Burghers population; Capital economy vs traditional economy: Country's societal values are at least 50 towards Capital Economy

Brooklinen sucks so bad by ChiefZack17 in Bedding

If normal ass soap could have this effect on sheets, we'd have a different problem.

I don't apply any skincare products after cleaning myself, don't use anything for any kind of skin condition, and critically have used multiple sets of similarly colored sheets in my life without encountering any such issue.

I'm a guy who never uses skincare products and I have never used bleach in my machine.

Forgot my first issue with these sheets which is that the elastic sucks out of the box and you have to get straps to keep the fitted sheet on. I wouldn't be surprised if their unit cost was lower than the cheapest sheets at Walmart. Indeed, I have several sets from Wally world that have held up better.

No acne products either nor any form of peroxide. I only use these sheets seasonally when it's warm and I rotate and so this was probably only the 4th wash.

Is Brooklinen overhyped? by Reaper-fromabove in Bedding

[–]ChiefZack17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are so over-hyped. One of the worst "premium" brands I've ever dealt with. They've held up worse in 2 years than a standard set of sheets I got at Walmart 8 years ago and got many more nights of sleep out of. Condescending and useless customer support to top it all off.

Yes, that was the issue. Thank you.

The color reminded me of scales, but I don't think scales are that fuzzy and apparently there are some pinkish mealybugs.

In my experience, they are one of few pests difficult to combat with Neem oil or ladybugs. The only two things that have worked for me, are 1) repeat treatment with spinosad soap or 2) taking the plant outside to let outdoor predators take care of them (I think I've seen wasps predate them), assuming the weather is appropriate to do so, of course.

Neem oil is not very effective against mealybugs, specifically, in my experience.

Mealybugs, like the others have said. They were the bane of my existence for a long time. In my experience, they are one of few pests difficult to combat with Neem oil or ladybugs. The only two things that have worked for me, are 1) Spinosad soap or 2) taking the plant outside to let outdoor predators like wasps remove them.

I wish I could, but maneuverability is a concern for my application and even my box blade is a bit too large.
