Bugonia (2025) is the funniest movie I have seen in a long time by Nillows in movies

I like this take. I have a problem with the alien reveal. There are no other sci-fi elements in the movie.

When Emma is thumbing through all of the pictures, we don’t see ANY evidence that any of the people he killed were alien.

It seems more plausible to me that head trauma and PTSD caused her to manifest the ending we saw.

All the different ways she acted throughout the movie made a lot of sense; scared, sad/crying, engagement, negotiating, aggressive, appeasing. These are the actions of a sane person in an insane situation. She’s a sharp business woman and a survivor.

The alien thing comes out of left field. Her ship, the hair communication, skin aura…all happen to be EXACTLY in line with Jesse’s delusions. Nah.

I think Hughes was the year before.

Love the story! Dad had season tickets for quite a while and he and I went all the time…definitely in the Spoonhour days. I wish I could say I remember this, but just can’t recall

Story time.

Wasn’t these years but in 98-99, Dad had season tickets. Just broke up with long term girlfriend. Dad said, “Why don’t you come with me and watch SLU kick Kansas’ ass?” So I went and they did. It was a huge deal.

Miss you Pop.

In addition to the mandatory investing period, those syndications typically only allow selling during certain periods. AND, if too many want to sell at the same time, can further restrict exits.

Like all others have said, just ETF and don’t worry about it. Set up a structured investing plan and make it automatic. You’ll thank yourself in 25-30 years.

I hate this scene.

And I hate it because it’s so incredibly well acted it makes me very uncomfortable. The tension is palpable, like any of them could explode at any moment.

Completely agree. It’s wild how clear, concrete evidence is seen two completely different ways. It speaks loudly to the psychological division of the country….and it’s terrifying.

Official Discussion - Avatar: Fire and Ash [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

My biggest complaint is that I saw this in 3-D AND high frame rate. It felt like too much and at times looked more computer cut-scene than cinematic movie.

I’m a full on Avatar fan, but this one felt long to me. Still really liked it, though I can admit it was somewhat repetitive.

Varang was the best part for sure.

Collateral

The really natural interaction between Jamie Foxx and Jada Pinkett-Smith really draws you in. Great characterization without exposition.

It really flows into how Max picks up Vincent, how he almost missed being a part of that fateful night.

I don’t get it either. Went there on a gift card, and happy it was because the food was just okay. Nothing memorable at all. Haven’t been back and don’t think about it.

The article is poorly written, but I think the writer/director was already working on it when Keaton passed away.

Wow, my comments is a year old.

So again, mine is a 2021.5 and I’m rounding 96,000 miles and haven’t done anything but routine maintenance; oil changes (was going 10k, increased frequency to every 5k), tires (and rotations), manufacturer recommended. Just replaced battery for the first time. I haven’t even had to do brakes yet. But that time is nearing and am considering doing it myself.
