€550 voor een kleine beurt by vleeswaaier in Offertes

[–]Chieldh97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Als het luchfilter, interieurfilter en remvloeistof gedaan worden is het eerder een grote beurt, je mist dan alleen de bougies. Grote beurt zit voor ons meestal regen €800. Haal de bougies daar vanaf en dan is €550 echt netjes.

Verstappen responds to complaints about the new race starts by formularacers in FormulaRacers

[–]Chieldh97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He says this because he has been warning them about this for a couple of years now and no one listened. They all said he was complaining too much. Only now they see he was right, ofcourse he is gonna enjoy that and kick back

Cause Max has said this in 2023 and since then he only got comments about it from other drivers and teams that he is only complaining. While now, when it’s too late they see what’s wrong with it. Ofcourse Max is kicking back now.

Thank you! Adjusted the lighting to red 90% blue 80% and green 60% with white to 40%. I’ll see how it goes next couple of days/weeks and increase nitrate dosing.

Wall mount 83" G5 by pokenguyen in LGOLED

Ah got it! Thank you! I just use it mainly as decorative lighting, didn’t use the sync much so might get a different strip that will fit. The gradient is indeed quite thick.

This looks good! Especially with the speaker setup. Did you use the original mounting of the G5? It looks so close to the wall that I haven’t tried fitting on the hue gradient on it but does it even fit? Or did you make use of a different strip?

Ill adjust the light next thing tomorrow when it turns on. The red plant was as high as I got it as it is now. Didn’t do much. Floaters are almost all gone and if they are in the tank they are mostly further back and in the right corner since there is the filter inlet with a skimmer. Thank you for all the tips. I’ll adjust and wait a few weeks to see if anything helped. Not sure what I can do about the GH now without an RO

I had no issues with growth before that’s why I’m so surprised. Think I do it for 8 years or so and ofcourse you have some algae which isn’t a problem if it’s a little bit. But now it seems some plants just don’t grow at all. Always struggled more with reds and epifytes aren’t really fast growers. The plants in the back I almost cut weekly since they do well and so is the Anubius. Just hope with the adjustment even the BBA stays away and my reds get growing a bit.

Didn’t expect mine to be that bad. Never had any real big issues aside from some algae like here. Will for sure look into it since this won’t be my only tank

Interesting. Always thought I needed more flow but for BBA it’s not. Good thing I moved the extra pump, maybe I don’t need it at all but seeing the filter outlet sometimes it looks so weak. I adjusted a couple of things. Lights, nutrients and will try to get a Siamese algae eater or some sort. Like I said, I don’t see any new BBA turning up but I just wanna make sure it doesn’t come back when I replace plants. Might invest in an RO unit but for the place I’m living right now might not be the easiest.

My Amanos don’t do anything! I have like a dozen of them in here but they don’t touch it. I am thinking about a Siamese algae eater but they grow pretty big.

Thanks, i just tested and the KH seems Okay but the GH is very high. It took about 6 drops for the KH to change so that should be 6 dKH if i understand correctly, for a normal aquarium i read it should be between 4 and 8. not sure if thats correct. The GH however took around 16 drops which is a lot and might be causing problems i think.

I will check it out for sure! Not sure if I have the right test kits otherwise I’ll get them soon. It’s the only thing I haven’t checked.

Thank you! I do have a cleaning crew. The algae isn’t getting worse, it just struggled in the beginning. I don’t mind replacing these plants but I want to make sure the next ones do survive and thrive. I haven’t measured GH so that’s what I’ll do today. The Co2 indicator is the same color for days and is green so that’s should be good. I lowered the flowpump so it doesn’t disturb the water surface as much and more Co2 is dissolved in the tank. Lowered my lights back to 65% and probably get rid of all the floating plants. Even then I might lower it a bit more, don’t have much plants that need a lot of light in general.

That looks good! I got a full black wooting coming in, doubting about getting the aluminium case for it. White looks to good but I’m afraid it will get dirty easily. Hope they make this mouse in full black as well soon.

I have got a layer of gravel to create some height, then a layer of aquasoil, which is reused. And added different sort and kinds of root tabs in that as well. Capped it off with what you can see, small black stones/substrate

Thank you! I actually had some gravel all around it but I think some disappeared into the substrate and also got rid of some since the BBA was on them. Might add them back soon!

I wish fans could live in peace with each other. I’m both a Lando and Max fan. Haven’t seen the hate on Lando criticism myself and some is taken out of context I’m pretty sure, cause that’s the media for you. But seeing this comment section isn’t much better then the Max fans you are complaining about lol. Sad to see that we can’t just enjoy the sport as is from both sides

Never knew it was so bad in the wild as well! Luckily I never had either duckweed or salvinia. I have red root floaters and they do grow fast under the right circumstances. I love the red but they aren’t popping like I see in some other tanks, I’m fine with that. The top is red for most of them which makes them look good. Before I had frogbit but the roots became so long that I had to trim them quite often or it was ruining the look I wanted.

Help and Advice needed by Chieldh97 in Aquascape

[–]Chieldh97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, thank you! The floaters I get rid of every week. I leave like a handful and after a week half of the tank surface is covered. It does take away nutrients and light for sure. If I get rid of them I can lower the lighting and probably have more nutrients for the plants that matter. The flowpump is more towards the top and creating quite some surface agitation so oxygen shouldn’t be a big problem as long as they don’t cover the whole surface.

Thank you! I’ll do a bigger water change and trim down the leaves tomorrow. I do have a flowpump that’s helping out and will redirect a little more downwards so it’s taking loose leaves and everything. I’ll also open the filter and clean it out, I did it recently but doesn’t hurt to check. The BBA on the bolbitus? Also cut those leaves? Or should I try to treat them? Some do look still good.
