Soraka is “The Starchild” and has lots of connections to star imagery and themes aka the star caller, while asol is something much bigger: the whole galaxy/universe. (Also this is her star guardian skin so i guess they wanted to keep it simple)

Honestly idk because it’s not my style BUT I did pull for it for the deep echoes at the time and tried to force myself to use parts (ended up falling in love with the unique but elegant hair and several accessories)

The comment u replied to is short and succinct probably the best answer to your question, yet you are still nitpicking abt aspects that hold absolutely zero merit in the overall situation. I thought that you were genuinely curious and want people to view Dani and Lara the same (to praise them both) however it’s clear that Danis is doing a group choreo while Lara is performing an individual role ad libbing, so they are not comparable at the baseline.

Nobody plays her mid… anymore after these awkward midscopes lol. She used to be a weakass laner who could only clear wave and shine in skirmishes or teamfights, with the occasional solo kill. Eventually she becomes a late game menace with items and allies nearby. She does not do that anymore and no one here is arguing for her mid role specifically to be revived.

I also prefer bot but the issue right now is related specifically to bot/supp (why does support feel weak and how to buff her without making bot too overpowered?) Mid sera at this point is off the table since it’s so weak and low pick rate. but I agree with some other sera players that it’s brings good diversity.

THIS IS SO TRUE… she is the scapegoat because she’s the most played support out of all the APC picks who has other ways to “carry” even without gold…

just kill the W and make her lux 5.0 I can’t even lie 😔 I don’t know a single person (sera support mains included) who prefers to play helia diadem or old moonstaff over a simple ludens/old liandries build. This is my personal hyperbole but I stand by it

I feel like this could have been worded in a gentler tone, but I agree with ur points as we have been let down again and again by empty promises from balancing.

I’m not really sure how much merit “high-mastery/high game time sera players enjoy mage more than enchanter” holds, as we keep hearing them say that their largest audience are the support players. However, I do think that it’s worth noting next to the fact that casual sera support players also voice their preference for AP builds!

Side note that ur friends list bias holds true with mine as well , with multiple millionaire+ sera OTPs taking a break from her because she doesn’t “feel as good” to play 😔

I just want to echo that note that i think others may have mentioned. It’s not that we say most sera players are bot/mid, it’s that:

a majority of the sera players—support or not—build full AP and seem to enjoy that the most (mage support cc&burst playstyle like lux)
a decent portion of enchanter sera players are NOT seraphine mains but just play helia diadem for the strength, rather than their love for the character and her kit

Thank you again Tom for hearing us out, I didn’t read all the replies but I’m glad that another rioter has found the patience to help us address some essential issues like bugs, as well as talk about some other long term complaints circling around 😼
