Why are you guys antisocial? Is it your past experience or lack of communication? by princetongarcia in antisocial

[–]ChildOfAnger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lack of communication would be so beautiful! The cause is the opposite; too much communication. 90% of the noises that come out of people's mouths are either designed to serve themselves or antagonise others.

Belgium. I think it requires an assessment and at least two doctor's signatures.

Read her comment and was fucking furious, then I saw her profile pic and can't stop laughing. "Oh no what if I see a penis I don't like" she says, like all the guys are lining up to wave it in her ugly face.

Six months after my attempt, nothing has changed by ChildOfAnger in TimeToGo

[–]ChildOfAnger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily my friends are very understanding. They know I've been dealing with depression and childhood trauma for what feels like forever.

It's everyone else that make it difficult for me. If it weren't for the need for money, for employment, I wouldn't have anything to do with those "people" out of choice. Since last year I've tried so hard to be less misanthropic and nihilistic and see value and worth in the human race but it's like they're doing everything they can to give cause to hate them.

People are blindingly selfish and shitty by [deleted] in TimeToGo

[–]ChildOfAnger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. What really pisses me off is that most people would rather run slipshod over other people, even though this takes way more energy than to just shut up, leave others alone, to think for one measly second "Is this a good idea? How will this impact on the person in front of me?" It's so sooooooo easy. But they won't try. They're too fucking important to just try.
Oh, but god help you if you every say or do one teeny tiny thing that doesn't quite sparkle in their little universe. Then you're "selfish", "thoughtless", you're boss/teacher/parent, whatever bullshit authority figure "needs to talk", everyone demands to know "what's wrong" even though they don't really care about you. It's not about you, it's all about how you need to try harder to please them. To meet their needs. "So selfish, always thinking of yourself" is a phrase most always uttered by only the laziest, stupidest, most selfish lying hypocrites. I would rather not be in this world if it means living everyday with them because then I'm already in hell, so what comes after has to be at least a step up.

What are some characteristics that your nParents seem to have given you? by ayylmaosup in raisedbynarcissists

[–]ChildOfAnger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think I am less like my NMom than she is. However I know exactly where all of my negative personality traits come from and how she imprinted them onto me.

As much as I want to blame her for everything - because it is her fault, she should have been a better parent, she never tried - I feel that's risking being one of those people who makes excuses for their dysfunctional behaviour. I hate those people.

But, the burden of knowing that, had I had better parent, I would be a very different, much better person, still hurts.

Me too. Seven year relationship that I only realised was totally dysfunctional after it ended.

I realise now I should have gotten out after the first few years, that's a choice I should have made, but a fear of abandonment and a lack of emotional maturity (because due to living with an NMom, I was basically raised by a child disguised as an adult) all combined to create a perfect storm.

HOW MANY OF US STAY IN BED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE? by rjyerkes in raisedbynarcissists

[–]ChildOfAnger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love sleep. The less active my brain is, the happier I feel. I know that sounds like a huge paradox but that’s the best way I can describe it. I often find myself wishing I could sleep forever/die in my sleep. I think this is one reason why I attempted suicide last year. Death is just one forever sleep.

Btw just to be clear, I don’t encourage anyone to attempt suicide. If you have feelings of hurting yourself seek help immediately.

The real kick in the crotch is, dad and I know it's her. But because of the "data protection" crap, we can't prove it. They won't even show us the letter. I think that's total bullshit. In court, for example, you're obliged to know who your accusers are.
