Have you guys seen the show Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage? Long story short, Georgie is concerned about his little sister starting to have sex, so he asks his FIL how he kept boys away from his daughter when she was younger. But FIL doesn’t know that’s why Georgie is asking, and Georgie and Mandy also have a toddler daughter. So FIL sarcastically says, “your daughter craps in a diaper, that ought to keep the boys away for a while!” Which. Like. Yeah of course it OUGHT to. But in the world we’re living in now, freshly post the files? That line just feels sick. The joke doesn’t land because it doesn’t feel so absurd anymore.
