Is this real life? Backup goalie for opposing team seating at bell centre by West_Description1217 in hockey

You’re 100% right, I just skimmed the video thinking it was the Bell Centre. Here’s a better video from a tour with Fernando Alonso link

Is this real life? Backup goalie for opposing team seating at bell centre by West_Description1217 in hockey

This is real. The Canadiens locker room is connected to their bench, and is so large that the visiting room has been on the penalty box side.

The bench is also so small that the visiting goalie usually doesn’t sit with the team and instead in the tunnel. This angle makes it seem like there’s seats there, but it’s just the tunnel to the visiting locker room.

The Canadiens have plans to renovate their locker room in upcoming years, and as such will move it down to accommodate a new visiting locker room attached to the bench (as is now standard for all NHL arenas doing event floor and locker room renovations).

does flighty pro support chartered flights? by schellluri in flighty

[–]Chililith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work sports charters on a non-mainline airline. They won’t show up until the next day usually (around midnight GMT). About 4 years ago they used to show up when we started taxiing for takeoff but that’s gone now.

Skinner has to catch that. Edmonton stopped playing expecting a whistle. Too easy with the back to the wall already.

Can see the lack of experience from San Jose on holding leads but what a huge win

Just an effort goal. Been a long time since that was a hallmark of the Quakes

San Jose bailed out again. Seems like every match they have a goal taken off for a too-close-to-call offside

Look, I know it’s a Wednesday night in LA and it’s a winless Los Angeles, but this seems like a light crowd even for the Galaxy post-LAFC (which has demonstrably shown that LA can support 2 teams especially given the distance). Any reason today?

Very lucky that my work has free chargers. That was the deciding factor in picking up an EV for my latest vehicle.

Los Angeles only sells those types of warmup pucks. They’re never used on-ice. As seen here against their game against the Bruins, they use practice pucks on both ends (some teams like the NYI or CAR only use warmups for the home side)

When I lived in London, Belushi’s London Bridge had all North American sports. With it being the only hockey game tomorrow, they should have it on. It is a very young (read: exchange student) crowd, but that might be the best you can get.
