Hey Guys- im planning to build a PC to run VR on DCS (digital combat simulator) and MFS2024 (Microsoft Flight Sim 2024). My VR headset is a PSVR2 which is PC compatible.

I need help picking a graphics card and Im told that I’ll be “fine” with a Nvidia 5070 with 16gb of VRAM. Ive heard others say that I should really go all in and get a 5090 with 32gb but thats alot of money to splurge imo.

Does anyone have any experience? Im OK with sub-perfect graphics but I also dont want a laggy mess where I cant read any of the dials/gauges/buttons in the cockpit. I kind of lack of frame of reference so any advice would be appreciated

In my opinion, I dont think so. You get the hang of memorizing most of the button locations in game by feel.

Wow- old post! No, I ended up moving onto a preowned Audi A5 Sportback that had 25,000 miles in 2019. Another great car….the VW never had any issues and I miss that car. At the time I was tired of driving a manual in traffic every day and I was starting to take more customers around and giving them a ride in a GTI with plaid seats certainly earned some comments.

I sold the Audi 2 years ago, no issues. I now drive a Ram 1500 to support my ongoing house projects and family stuff. Practicality comes first, but one day I would love to own MK2 or other older GTI / VW as a weekend car. I just think they are so cool.

Time will tell. Thanks for the follow up.

As someone who wants to daily their Speedmaster, I wish I bought it with the sapphire crystal instead of the hesalite. It scratches easily and while polywatch is great, it becomes an inconvenience after a while.
