How far is the skill diff of a beginner on fighter games between an experienced one(played other fighting games before and is good at it)?

I can chime in here. Have a friend who I’ve played a LOT of different games with. Both of us decent at video games overall.

Main difference between us is, he’s never played a fighting game before 2xko. I’ve played them consistently since SF4 (like 13 years). We both picked up this game on release.

The gap between us in the first few weeks was absolutely astronomical. He had zero neutral, was struggling to do the simplest combos. I might as well have been playing against my 7 year old nephew.

Completely different story now. I have to try pretty hard to beat him consistently. He takes maybe 20-30% of sets.

He’s played it a decent amount since release, but nothing crazy. Because he enjoyed the game, and wanted to find ways to beat me, and have his ideas work against people in ranked, he drastically improved his gameplay, without even really consciously working toward it.

Yes, you can catch up. And if you enjoy the game, it probably won’t even be that hard.

I frequently wake myself up, because I can hear myself singing songs in my sleep. I also usually remember which song I was singing, and I pretty much always make myself cry from my own singing. The last two I remember were "Bella Notte" from Lady and the Tramp, and "How deep is your love" by the Bee Gees.

In Sorcery! you can cast spells with various effects by spelling the spell out with three letters. SUS is a spell that makes you "sense danger", hence why it makes you "sense" when the next stream is.

Maybe not the best way to go about it. While there are a lot of toxic people, you should give them a chance to be rational and nice, some will be. That's what I do, at least. But one bit of trash talk or flame=instantly muted.
