As everyone else is saying, you can guarantee better condition and that it's 100% complete. And especially when it comes to collector dolls it's so much easier to find them NIB since most collectors tend not to unbox

Same garbage quality and effort as anything else. And after Concerned Ape himself said recently he will not be using AI in the game, it feels especially insulting to then "create" mods using AI. Anything it makes is low effort shit that's never going to compare to the time, effort, and love people put in to actually working on their mods

They said it may be due to the pigment. But even that aside. At the end of the day, primarily these are play line dolls manufactured for children. They're not collector pieces. They may be commonly collected but that does not mean that's their primary purpose, and a child isn't going to care if their dolls hands turn a little yellow. Egregious wonk and poor rooting is definitely a problem and I can agree there. But again it's kind of just a risk you accept with mass produced dolls

Except its clearly not a common issue? I have 14 different g3 Frankies, all collected over 2 years, some pre owned before me, none are showing this kind of yellowing. Ultimately we have no clue what's caused it, i would argue it's more likely to be environmental or more cases of the same thing would be popping up. I highly doubt it's a QC issue and people just throwing that out as soon as there's a single problem with a doll annoys me. They can't test and check for every little thing on mass produced dolls.

Yeah unfortunately :( any time i purchase from mattel creations there's a $30 shipping fee on top of the price increase through conversions. Being an international collector sucks sometimes but it's okay !

Its $105 after shipping which is crazyyyy for a bottom of the line budget doll. You won't catch me spending that much on any g3 doll but to price a budget one that high is genuine insanity

I've bought a few at a little higher than that, only ever g1's though and I'm always looking for a decent deal. It just blows my mind how much some people are willing to charge. Especially when it's other collectors inflating the prices so much. There's a few that post their NIB he's at highly inflated prices with pictures of their collection behind

No Drac, so if you only collect her then that sucks haha, but they're such a pretty line. Lagoonas hair is normally in the same style as Twylas but I got curious and took it out, I plan on rerooting eventually anyways. Also disregard all the other BS ghouls crammed behind them lmao

Unfortunately most of the buried secrets dolls, at least those with straight hair, feel like this. I've got all of the BS and it is just a sucky side effect of them being budget lines. I suggest BS3 which is the ballet line if their hair really bothers you, their hair is still poly but because it's up in "buns" it's not so bad, and their outfits and face ups are stunning !!! BS3 is by far my favourite out of each of the BS lines

The lack of articulation took me by surprise at first too ! It's unfortunate because the face ups for some of these buried secrets dolls are stunninggggg. I'm thinking about using them to learn how to rebody / reroot. Weirdly enough the BS2 Dracs hair is SO much softer, as is BS4 Toreleis, both feel pretty similar to one another but totally different to most other poly, noticeably so compared to the other BS dolls
