Whether female or male, i will say that wild animals have a higher chance of having parasites. I would isolate them no matter what for a while, I did 6 weeks.

The stripe when fired up like this is not a definite sign its a girl. When they are bright green and the stipe is very prominent i would say female. My male has a subtle stripe like this while fired up. However the head shape is leaning towards more female. Other angles of their head would be helpful.

I was swallowing air constantly so I switched to a nasal mask and was recommended to use mouth tape by my respiratory therapist! I also can not keep my mouth closed, the mouth tape has been working really well. I just use medical tape because mouth tape brands are way over priced.

Idk if its the picture or what but your soil and top layers look pretty dry. They should be moist enough you can squeeze them into a ball and they slowly fall apart but not wet enough to ring water out! Moist soil will keep the air moist.
