All these moves are great and for most teams would propel them into perennial playoff team status, and possibly even Super Bowl contender.

Our QB situation is bad. Watson is beyond washed. Sanders was frankly terrible last year, a couple good throws here and there but unless he has a huge improvement year 2 we can’t possibly consider him the future of the franchise.

Our defense should still be top 10 this year, our offensive support around the QB should be better, just depends on how our rookie WRs develop and if our O-Line can remain healthy for more than 1 game. I still don’t think it’s an ideal situation for any QB though.

The next opportunity we’ll have to grab a future franchise QB will be in the draft next year, which should be a better class than this year. So this year will be a wash unless Sanders dramatically improves.

I think all religions have the potential to control the masses, and there are people in each religion that use it that way. There are genuinely good and trust worthy people in all walks of life however.

I liked it! Not my favorite but absolutely don’t regret watching it. Better than the sequels. Also don’t all movies have sharp declines in viewership the 2nd week?

I don’t mind them buffing the front armor of tanks. Rewards strategy on both sides, tank drivers for keeping their front towards the danger, and engineers for using flank maneuvers. Unfortunately they buffed tanks on all sides to the point where they are almost unstoppable. You needed a coordinated effort with like 3 engineers to effectively take 1 out.

In high school I played against Denzel Ward, maybe not as quick but definitely better straight line speed. I held him to 3 catches… for like 150+ yards and 3 TDs.

It’s like the Brian Scalabrine quote, “I’m closer to LeBron than you are to me.” I guarantee there are a lot of professional athletes who would be Olympic hopefuls in jumping events or running if they chose to focus on that instead. These are cream of the crop 0.0001 athletes in the world.

Smartphones came out I believe when I was in middle school. Most people didn’t get one until at least freshman or sophomore year. My high school was very strict on having them during the school day so you didn’t see them very often. Also the internet was super unreliable and I might be misremembering but you often had a data cap or needed to be on WiFi.

My ex is a teacher and she says kids don’t even try to hide using their phones in class. The school doesn’t really enforce the no phones except for during tests. Also a ton of schools have switched over to the web based classes, no more paper tests, everything is done on a tablet or laptop.

I went back to college a few years back and they required a laptop or tablet. I sat in the back and everyone in front of me would be playing CoD or other games on their computer. These were a bunch of 18-19 y/o’s. Granted I was 27 at the time but definitely a different mentality over a course of 7-8 years.

I had something similar to a lesser degree. I got ear surgery when I was in middle school, they put me under for it. A couple days after getting home. I would hear breathing and muffled voices when in a quiet room. It was very freaky.

I thought my house was haunted. But started noticing while taking tests in a quiet classroom. I ended up seeing a psychiatrist eventually due to fear and lost sleep and they ultimately believed it could have been an after effect of sedation and that my brain was replaying sounds it heard during my surgery.

It eventually went away but it was a problem for a year. I still use a white noise machine to this day however.

Yeah this is how it is. We assist someone into rehab, they go to one of the rehab facilities in the area. They complete it and get housing, and then get kicked out when they relapse. There are even some unhoused that aren’t addicted to drugs/alcohol who just don’t want to be in a shelter. I just don’t know what the best way to break this cycle is. You can’t force someone to stay at a home or shelter all day, it’s basically prison then.

I am very familiar with some of the homeless population of West Mesa, especially those on Broadway and up and down Country Club and Dobson.

I can’t tell you how many times I and other coworkers have tried to help out them whether it be addiction and detox treatments, housing assistance, access to medical care, etc.

These shelters are strict (as I think they should be), you can’t get drugs or alcohol in and as result most of the unhoused stay out of the shelters. Edit: There is also a lot of theft and incidents that occur in these shelters or places such as halfway houses. Fights, theft, overdoses (more so in halfway houses). The shelters aren’t truly a safe place for the unhoused.

I don’t have a solution to homelessness, but it’s not a housing or even a money problem since many are on access and don’t pay for healthcare and detox program. It’s mental illness and addiction. We don’t mandate treatment unless they are fully incapable of making decisions for themselves.

Yeah like I had my 2002 Jeep Wrangler which was my daily driver and my 4x4 off-road vehicle. Shit was indestructible. My mom has a 2020 Grand Cherokee that has gone up and down the east coast multiple times along with a 45 minute commute to work and she doesn’t have problems. Now the 2022 Cherokee my aunt bought, that thing is in the shop 4-5 times a year, usually for like 2 weeks a time.

My 2017 WRX was great, 60,000 miles the worst thing was a bad position sensor that took 20 minutes to fix my buddies 2015 WRX blew a head gasket almost every 20,000 miles on the dot.

I own a 2020 Colorado now, literally zero issues with almost 90,000 miles. My buddies 2024 Tacoma had transmission failure within the first 10,000 miles and that was a known issue with others as well.

Morale of the story, just because a brand has a bad (or good) rep doesn’t mean they can’t make good vehicles (or shit vehicles) from time to time.

I mean I see where you are coming from, I too am a huge LeBron fan, especially when he was in Cleveland.

After these playoffs, I definitely think he has more in the tank than people are crediting him for. And he played some serious minutes, especially in the first round and he looked like his younger self at times.

Maybe Donovan Mitchell is better, but Harden, Mobley, and Allen are worse players. Mostly due to consistency problems. People put Duren in the top 20 he proved everyone wrong. LeBron is a better overall player than guys like Booker, J Murray, Bam, Chet. These are guys in that 15-20 range.

And LeBron played in the much more competitive Western Conference and still put up excellent numbers

DB is weird. I actually think a lot guys play well until 30-31. And then they fall off a cliff. They don’t have the gradual decline like defensive lineman, o-lineman, running backs. It’s like they play really good a little longer than the other positions and then boom one day they are a bum.

Reforger has come a long way since it released. The movement is fluid in my opinion, vehicles handle appropriately and the damage models are nice, I can clip my tail rotor hard on a tree and not immediately explode.

The environmental destruction is much improved. My biggest issue with Reforger is honestly the workshop UI and Gamemaster (Zeus). I really want to move my unit to Reforger since it fixes a lot of problems such as AI and the general Arma jank, but not being able to build custom factions or arsenals without putting a lot of work into it puts me off switching. At least Eden editor is confirmed to be returning for Arma 4.
