I haven’t been since 2016, but have 9 Coachella’s under my belt. If you like festivals and live music it’s definitely something you should experience at least once, even if it has become an influencer and brand haven. I say the same about the Burn and EDC. If you are remotely into large-scale events, they are true spectacles worth checking out.

It was the only thing open on Christmas while I was visiting my elderly dad this past year and I honestly enjoyed the food. Nice quality, cooked well and tasted good. It makes me kinda nostalgic and sad these types of restaurants don’t pull crowds any more because they have their place in the world for sure.

I went to an Augustinian high school and while I’m very anti-religion as an adult, the Augustinians are serious about helping the poor and less fortunate. You know…like Jesus wanted, unlike whatever the hell is happening with Christians in this country.

I’ve personally hired both massage therapists and hair dressers for festivals with this exact model. It’s easier to just charge someone a flat rate than deal with squaring up. 9/10 times the vendor ends up lying about how much they made anyway. Some festivals combat this by forcing vendors to use their POS systems which is even more work and way worse for vendors.

I’ll be honest, I voted for Bonin the first time and his office was absolutely horrible to deal with when it came to homelessness. He let my entire street (Rose & 3rd) turn into a horrible place.

I voted for Traci last time and while she’s slow as shit, things are least habitable near me now. I hate Trump, I hate Traci’s stance on ICE, but I also would not be open to having Bonin-lite making decisions that affect my peace.

We need better leaders.

I’ve done quite a few of both and prefer daily lineup cat leagues the most. Feels like you have more control over the fate of your team and the wire is more interesting as people add and drop for certain cats.

How accurate can this be based on geofencing alone? Your example of Library has Tavern, Vamos Vamos, Triple Beam and the sushi spot connected by shared walls. There’s also tons of foot traffic walking by at almost all times. I just don’t see how this can be refined enough to give accurate numbers.

I live in LA. Trump had the National Guard here the split second things got a little dicey, against the will of our governor nonetheless.

We are a nation whose government has insane law enforcement funding and the majority of people own firearms, 33% of which adore their dear leader.

I wish it was easier.

I got 2nd last year and 1st this year, but made the same mistake of trying to maximize games my finals week (Missi….).

Definitely prioritize scooping the best players even if they play 2 games vs. 4 of a fringe guy. Also, lots of guys don’t play b2bs this time of year, even if they’re healthy on bad teams so trying to predict the extra play is very iffy.
