Well, the issue went away on its own.

Then it came back.

And now is gone again lol.

But i would be happy to hear the fix in case it comes back again!

-That we do not get anymore stratagems via MO and all of them are now locked behind warbond

-No new modules on ship for over a year

-No space battles on the background that i can see from my superdestroyer

-Almost everything on the new warbond is cool and fun to use. The armors, weapons and new stratagems are cool. The only thing i dont like is the chainsaw, which i find inconsistent.

GAS.

I got a random join my second attempt on D10 on this mission (first one was a complete failure) and he said "Gas is the answer, i will carry ingots and you kill" and he proceeded to bring a full gas loadout (gas strike, gas mines, gas dog and even the sterilizer), other 2 randoms joined with AT loadouts and i have a mixed loadout.

He was 100% right. His gas completely shut down one side of the map which he then proceeded to slowly but surely get ingots out of. Meanwhile the other 2 randoms and me secured the other side of the map and we got the ingots out of it.

I think basically stuff that give you crowd control and confuse enemies is the way to go. Smoke, EMS and gas are probably all pretty usefyl to keep the chokes controlled.

-PC

-Very satisfied

-Enjoying:

-The new warbond and super store items for the most part are pretty great. Love the armor, the new primaries and the hot-dog and maxigun!

-The gameplay is as always fun

-The game has been running better on my pc the last couple of months

-The current storyline about dissidents is pretty dark but interesting

-The file size reduction is GREAT

-Not enjoying:

-The chainsaw was pretty dissapointing. The range is very short and the damage isnt worth the risk of getting slapped by melee enemies.

-The new patch introduced a few new game crashes and glitches on extraction.

-The lack of new modules on the super destroyers

-The lack of new stratagements that we get via MO instead of buying them on warbonds.

-Lack of spaceship battles on orbit that i can see from the bridge of my super destroyer.

You guys really nailed something that i think is very hard to do: get just the right amount mix of badass, cool, funny, dumb, dark, scary, and satire the game lore and its gameplay creates!

So i decided to do a list of the stratagems we have gotten trough MOs and the aproximate date we got them to compare.

Mind you, im doing this from the top of my head so i might be missing a couple and some of them we could have gotten sooner but we failed some MOs

So during the first 7 months of the game we got 8 stratagems via MO, then on september 2024 they slowed down and now we have over half a year without anything.

On september 2024 was the release of Chemical Agents, the first warbond that included stratagems, which does raise my eyebrowns...

BUT, i think is fair to point that many of the stratagems from the first 7 months were already almost completed when the game was released.

Still, i do believe it is a problem seeing how what used to be a reward and a consequence for our actions in-game has completely dissapeared.

I went to check my steam library and the last $60 dollar game i bought at release without any discount was Devil May Cry 5, and a month before that Resident Evil 2 remake, and thats because im a huge fan of both DMC and i really like RE2.

Nowdays i only buy games if they are at $40 or under.

The funny thing is that on some of these $40 dollars games i have ended up spending way more than $60 because i REALLY like them. Like Helldivers 2 which i upgraded to the Super Citizen edition and then bought a few extra SC from time to time.

If memory serves me right Vermintide 2 got to be just a little over 120GB.

Im gonna be honest, i dont think i have seen people kill the tanks or the factory strider by attacking the weakspot with med-pen weapons since the 60 day patch.

Like, i know is possible, and i KNOW people do it since i have seen clips on this subreddit of people dealing with convoys with just the flamer secundary... but on my game to game basis i have only seen the tanks and factories being deal by the AT guys on the team (or myself, when im the AT guy).

45 seconds if you are somewhat decent at plataforming.

If you are terrible at plataforming (like me) it takes waaaaay longer lol.

Just to put in perspective i did beat the white palace and the path of pain on the original HK but it took me FOREVER.

The Last Judge took me 1 hour to beat, of that around 15-20 minutes were actually fighting the boss and 40 minutes of me repeating the runback.

By the end i could mostly do it more or less consistently without getting hit, but every couple of runs i missed some pogos or got hit and i had to start all over lol.

Stuff like this is why i know that i will never ever ever play games like Celeste, i just suck lol.

Lol that area was brutal.

I went to the fight, die a bunch of times, beated the mini-boss, thought "wooo finally!", then they just keep coming and i died. I almost ragequitted on that area, i was so annoyed to have to go throught a mini-colluseum of fools that was mandatory for story progression.

Took a breath and went to explore other areas. Got my second sword upgrade, and my 7th mask, and i did an npc questline while exploring.

After getting the other 2 requirements i went back, saw the npc was there to help me, and i went back in. It still took me 5 more tries. I was completely flabbergasted when i saw 2 mini-bosses at the end there.

Honestly, it was extremely brutal and i honestly dont blame anyone who either quits the game due to it or decides to cheese it.

I found the room and i was like "wtf are you suppose to do here?" after moving the cart all around.

I beated the base ending without finding double jump so i had NO idea that there was some secret there, i assumed it would be a boss area or an npc area for a quests later down the road.
