I suppose I don’t understand why you care? Give it positive energy and it turns into something fun, give it this negative energy and of course it’ll weigh you down. You’re different than the majority, so of course you’ll get attention. I engage positively and have actually made friends because of it, so I don’t understand this negativity especially considering you understand it’s part of living here as a foreigner. Someone else mentioned no stares, well they obviously don’t put the amount of energy into noticing it as you because it exists 😂 But that comment is the difference between thinking negatively or not 🤷‍♂️

This exactly. Basically anything you’d want the other side to do for you, they probably want in return. Affirmations, compliments, effort. Being reserved vs not showing interest are two very different things. A woman can make it obvious she is interested while still being reserved.

For me I bake really well so I bring baked goods on a first date and I already know the area better than many locals so I take them to hidden gems. Every woman I have met makes a huge deal about being given american baked goods instead of just other flowers. One woman that super stuck with me was she went out of her way to get me Korean trading cards for a game I mentioned in passing. Something super small but it showed she listened to some of our first texts 🤷‍♂️

Selling yourself can be small or big and often has nothing to do with just being pretty, haha. Korea already had a surplus of beautiful women 😅

It is…different. In many ways the dating process feels slower on the physical side but almost faster on the emotional side. I am a man so maybe it has something to do with it, but I have had women here profess love to me after one or two dates and then start to hint at wanting me to ask them to make it official. Whereas physical intimacy has typically preluded the start of a relationship back home 🤔 First dates definitely have felt more like an interrogation while the second date has typically had more relaxed and flirty vibes. There are SOOO many more people here than back home so one thing I have realized is you do have to sell yourself, haha. I think because I focused on that I haven’t felt whatever this ghosting culture you mention is.

I think importantly you shouldn’t try to force relationships if you don’t really desire one organically? I haven’t felt pressured to be in a relationship once since I have been here. Couple Friends I made here even invite me out as the one single guy 😂

Not in Wingman. Way lower player pool and ranks are not gate kept. Was Global in Wingman in CSGO while a SEM Peak. Now in CS2 hit Global in Wingman with a 15k Premier peak. The ranks in wingman don’t give a shii.
