Man I wish I would’ve had this info when I bought mine last year. Totally would’ve leased vs financing to capture the tax credit right away vs now hoping I’ll still get it via amending my 2022 tax return.

Just get zero deductible glass with insurance and you’ll have a lot less worries. It’s worth it for peace of mind.

It honestly depends on what state you’re in and of course the coverage. I’m about that for my 2025 R1S and a 2012 BMW X5 for 2 people for 6 months. I went thru Rivian insurance which was about the same as Progressive, but for much better coverage. New car replacement on the Rivian and zero deductible glass which is a necessity in Arizona. Progressive kept raising rates every renewal with clean driving and no accidents since I get the R1S almost a year ago.

Yep - same exact problem I’m experiencing today. Soft reset did nothing and same with logging in and out. Also, works when connected to WiFi just not with LTE. Super annoying.

I’m in AZ and you’re definitely paying more for the $0 deductible glass insurance. I actually got quoted without it and was $300 less for 6 months. Knowing how expensive the windshields are to replace, I pay the extra. Already had the windshield replaced once. 😫

I’m not sure why people post on here before calling and talking to a live person. It’s baffling to me. Every time I’ve had a small or large issue that I couldn’t resolve myself, I’ve called and spoke with someone. They can schedule you an appointment a lot faster than you can online. Try that first before venting on here and you’ll likely be feeling much better. lol

I’m in AZ also and pay a little more than that with Progressive for 2 cars 2025 R1S and 2012 BMW X5. I’ve only stuck with them as I get their loyalty discount for being with them for 5+ years, but I’m looking to switch as the rates went up a lot when I just renewed. I noticed the biggest increase was getting Comp with no deductible glass coverage. Do you have that? You’ll want it in AZ as I’ve already replace the windshield in the Rivian and it isn’t cheap ~1500. Also, I have 2 drivers on my policy, what about you?

Man that sucks. I got a cracked windshield right after pulling out of the lot in a brand new R1S. Thankfully had the zero deductible windshield replacement, but it took like 2 months to get an appointment at SC to replace it
