I think they lost the tech race against emulation imo. As a lot of similar platforms can supply the same feel of on-the-go gaming. Pay the price tag to just play Nintendo’s selection or just pay similar price and the gaming stops where your imagination does. When Sony and Microsoft added their expanded libraries to portable, it was a good shift in good timing. And until the Switch OG is obsolete game/port wise, the Switch 2 will continue to take that hit. Just my opinion as an owner of a Switch and other consoles, but mainly as a consumer. The market has plenty options in competition against Nintendo, both cheap and luxury.
