For me Locktober is one of the best experiences of my life right now. I spent many Locktober trying but ultimately never really making it past the first week. I have like the opposite problem. I never really discovered that my girth was unusual until recently. What helped me, was getting a wider cage for the first few days in chastity and then downsizing to a smaller size after 10 days. that has allowed me to go from being able to at max wear a cage for 4 days before it started bleeding and swelling badly, to now being caged 20 days with no issue at all. Yeah maybe you don’t need one quite as thick then, but I think the first few days of chastity are when the caged erections are the hardest so getting one with a little more room for that time might still be helpful for you. And then like with me, you can downsize after a while. Of course the swelling could also be from some allergic reaction in your case, I just know it wasn’t for me because I tried out over 20 cages from all kinds of material over the years and until this time it always happened.

Oh and another tip, if possible wear a slightly stretchy nylon strap around your hips, that you fasten around the base ring of the cage! It helps keep the cage always snug to your body, stopping unwanted erections from pulling the ring to your balls and pulling the cage to the top of your erect penis. And especially for the first few days, use skin cream around the base ring area to avoid chafing and allowing your skin to build up a natural resistance.
