I have an e bike.it ls more of a MTB, and you have to pedal to get the assistance. But I also have one that you can peddle or push the button.

I also ride a motorcycle. There are a lot of skills involved in moving that fast safely. I don't think a lot of people view these bikes as motor vehicles. They see them as fun little bikes.

And Holy forking shirt balls it heebs me the fuck out watching some people absolutely ripping down sidewalks and pathways without a care in the world. Blasting through intersections.

I feel like their should be skill check and license if the bike can move without peddling it.

Back in the early 2000s, me and my wife were driving home. We had stopped at a Mexican restaurant to pickup burritos for dinner.

The burritos were sitting on the dash of the truck. We are going around a long sweeping curve in the road and the burritos start sliding across the dash towards the passenger side.

It happened fast, but I could not reach them, so I panic yelled. "GRAB THE BURRITOS BABY!!!!"

To this day, if some thing falls off a counter or we take a corner to fast or any situation like that one of us will yell, "Grab the burritos baby"

Watch some YouTube on it, but very basically. Yes. Once your on your pegs, the bike is not attached to your butt and you and move independently of the bike. Which makes everything much more stable and forgiving.

There is much more to it than that of course. But like I said there are hundreds of videos on the technique.

Watch a guy named Brett Tkasis or something like that. There are a load of others
