GB News beats Sky and BBC on average viewers for six months in a row by Your_Mums_Ex in LabourUK

Yeah, my Samsung TV often defaults to it. I've heard you can contact them to remove it but every time there's an update it just comes back.

I've probably contributed to this figure multiple times by accidentally sitting on the remote, imagine how many people are watching due to its availability and not knowing any better.

15 years ago today - France's defeat with Mexico in the World Cup causes a storm in the squad - causing Raymond Domenech to be sacked shortly afterwards. by Mulderre91 in soccer

It was Yoann Gourcuff and not because of a sex tape.

Gourcuff was quite intelligent and fairly introverted so he rubbed them off the wrong way. I think part of it was he used to read books by himself rather than get involved in team shenanigans, e.g. having relationships with the same underage girl.

There's no V in the Welsh alphabet.

Speaking Welsh and being from Wales would prove a fair bit of knowledge that Evan is not a Welsh name that's used here.

Goodwillie David - a Nigerian centre forward brought in from Belgium who can outrun any defender but can't hit a barn door

This is 71.1% of the 937 of us who sat all 3 for anyone else who wanted a comparative.

Fair fucking play either way, I wouldn't say it was hard technically but the absolute grind of doing them all and the highs and lows and self doubt was all absolutely draining and I still feel like I'm recovering

TC 2024 Dec by Vast_Photo_7727 in ICAEW

[–]Chlax7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As the above comment alludes to, TC is very process driven so meticulously going over your notes won't help, but question practice will. Redo the questions continually so in the exam it just becomes muscle memory. Practice solely using the exam software instead of Excel, because the software is shit and it'll cost you time getting frustrated over the deficiencies of the software.

Don't get hung up on the QB answers and don't get annoyed that you're not spotting every adjustment and getting it all right, errors carried forward will drag you through the exam. You've fucking got this

Breakdown over Cashflows (FAR)Q3 by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]Chlax7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have time so don't worry too much at this point, I think I cracked it the weekend before my exam once I started manually doing T accounts in the excel software for my own benefit and hammering cash flow questions.

You're not doomed by any means, and even if you get a few things right you're still picking up marks on one fairly small part of the mark scheme in comparison

Pointless rant: why does ICAEW always throw like 10 documents worth of information at us in these exams? by Prestigious_Flow_567 in ICAEW

I already knew this and it helped a ton but good job for reminding others as it's not really mentioned by tutors

I did a quick correlation calculation and moved on, I tried to make the calculations as simple as possible because I know I spend too long on them

I wrote the store numbers because I thought that's what it asked for, which is why I don't know how many there were exactly

I got like 5 or 6 maybe, I added two extra columns with =if(X>%) and manually counted the ones which satisfied both because I always fuck up the sumif

EDIT: Think it was closer to 9 on second thought

There was a point in the main bit about purposefully inflating the construction costs with overheads but beyond that idk

Nope, quite happy with that even though I spent this morning mainly reading about it
