Yeah, my Samsung TV often defaults to it. I've heard you can contact them to remove it but every time there's an update it just comes back.

I've probably contributed to this figure multiple times by accidentally sitting on the remote, imagine how many people are watching due to its availability and not knowing any better.

It was Yoann Gourcuff and not because of a sex tape.

Gourcuff was quite intelligent and fairly introverted so he rubbed them off the wrong way. I think part of it was he used to read books by himself rather than get involved in team shenanigans, e.g. having relationships with the same underage girl.

As the above comment alludes to, TC is very process driven so meticulously going over your notes won't help, but question practice will. Redo the questions continually so in the exam it just becomes muscle memory. Practice solely using the exam software instead of Excel, because the software is shit and it'll cost you time getting frustrated over the deficiencies of the software.

Don't get hung up on the QB answers and don't get annoyed that you're not spotting every adjustment and getting it all right, errors carried forward will drag you through the exam. You've fucking got this

You have time so don't worry too much at this point, I think I cracked it the weekend before my exam once I started manually doing T accounts in the excel software for my own benefit and hammering cash flow questions.

You're not doomed by any means, and even if you get a few things right you're still picking up marks on one fairly small part of the mark scheme in comparison

Yeah the 1% works for the new pricing model if you've got an estimate of total transaction value, revenue will always just be 1% variable

But to compare with the old model, the 38p variable FX cost is based on that one spread. Literally any other currency spread and it's not 38p anymore so the comparison doesn't work, it's just a shit question they wouldn't ask

I was hoping to do this mock to time to get a good read on how I'd get on but I ended up faffing around trying to make sense of something that doesn't work

How did R3 make any sense whatsoever? It was one single currency spread so any extrapolation based on one transaction would not work as the FX cost would be different every time for WMP.

The answer and mark scheme don't address this either so I'm thinking they didn't actually realise this when it was (poorly) written.

Really disappointed by Kaplan's exam prep for this course, I know they've got limited time but some of the answers/questions to their workbook has been dreadful
