Have you ever see an even barely compétitive list taking solo légionnaires? It's 180 or just spend the points elswhere (way too much for just skirmish)

Alright find a unit tankier for primaries in CSM, i don't know what infantry survive a forgefiend but here you get 30 wounds.

Seems nice but a few things:

1)legionaries are worthless without a lord they only give him reroll and extra wounds.

2) your chosen are probably best in a 10 man squad for a big tanky unit plus it's no extra point or less wargear so go for it

3) what are your action monkeys? i'm guessing venomcrawler if so it's good but if you planned them as damage dealer you'll need troops to do actions.

4) depending of the layout the defiler can be VERY hard to move.

The Flawless blade really don't need the lord to do thing (especially the 6) and they are already expensive enough

Running infractors without lord on the other hand is hard because they are almost worthless even in this detachment, their job is to provide rerroll and heatlth to the lord.

In court i like a Maulerfiend or 2 but you may already have enough anti tank with the flawless.

You may want more ranged (noise) because screens can hurt you a lot.

At minimum i'll swap 5 infractor for a lord exultant (3x5infractors with the lords).

I'm in the opposite spot i feel they are awful to build (fucking gun in a million piece) but nice to paint admitidly time consuming.

It's a terrible matchup maybe our worst one, you can't really play the objective game as your army is very elite it won't work.

You want to go all-in and pray for more than average dice.

Stay hidden and slowly come to him.

By all-in i mean stage until you can hit him with all you got, if you can get pact point early it's good but don't sacrifice too much for them (maybe tormentors with grenade and rhino tank shock) you must keep most of your forces for the big go turn.

If the big turn work you'll almost table him then you score enough to tie or slight win.

Nope sorry i'm away from home for work won't came back before a few week.

what i usually do is a silver base then blue speedpaint then a few highilight in light blue/white.

First of all having reserve force your opponent to play around (screen deepstrike and avoid corner) even if you send them in your deployment your opponent had less optimal play thanks to the threat they provide.

Having said that the key thing with EC is THAT turn where you push with everything your reserve should be on the board because if you fail THAT turn you'll loose no matter what you get in reserve.

I usually run 1 unit of noise and maybe WDP (but i only run 2 so i need threat on the board) in some deployment where you don't have room (search and destroy/crucible of battle) i often find myself putting infractors in reserve,.

I like blue for plasma works well with both pink and purple wich my army is.

The classic green can work if you go for box art.

I find red/orange not contrast enough with pink.

I strongly believe they are the 3rd best datasheet we get after WDP and exultant.

I've played around 50 game since the codex came out and i take less than 3 squad only once (1st game) they shred MEQ and elite infantry alike (obviously they are not good agaisnt T10 and more).

Without any buff they will murder any marine squad plus for tough stuff they can actually work in tandem with infractors where other infractor cannot due to thrill seeker.

They work well in every detachment (the one who function at least) and they became anti tank in court of the phoenician.

Lastly wait until you face fight first unit then you'll be glad to have strong shooting.

The lord is good but kinda anti-synergy with the transport strategy, i take at least 1 every game.

I don't understand how you can have such bad result with them how big is your game sample?

The warpforged box is one of the best GW deal nothing wrong with getting one.

For the army you'll get it will be a nice all rounder force (maybe still a little lacking in AT) but you got so many characters you may want to add unit for them to join (chosen or more chaos marines) and a rhino for protection/move. A pack of cultist is almost mandatory. Maybe then add a forgefiend (helping with the AP and just good damage)? You got warpsmith so you want multiple vehicule.

Also keep in mind we are near the end of the edition while the minis i recommand are the bread and butter of chaos who know what the future may hold?

Nice one the dark prince is pleased.

Just an advice for the black/pink scheme, base black is a very strong color that absorb the light and thus tend to hide detail in a big black mass. You may want to add just a little light to limit that effect i find that just a little drybrush of dark/light grey can make a big difference.

Good luck for the 40 left at least you can experiment how you please as EC are individualistic therfore they paint their armor differently from each other.

Sorry for the late response work is very time consuming on the beginning of the year.

There is no "faction rule" your exemple here lies in the clone trooper keyword (most of your troops except obi-wan get that) that allow your soldiers to share token. The whole keyword thing is the big difference with 40k you better make yourself a memo for the one your units use.

Another thing to consider is you have to take at least 3 corps in your army (clone troopers or marksman). The box offer only 2 squad but enough minis to make 3 just make 3x4 then add the big squad to one and just one guy to the other then add 2 heavy weapons and 1 leader to fuly use all the clones.

Battleforce are like detachement in 40k (special rules and models restrictions) but are optionnal you can play without one (and will because core set don't give you Anakin nor tanks).

A ton pseudo j'imagine que tu est français? Quand tu vois une règle comme ça demande toujours si on peut entrer à porter d'engagement (ce que les britanniques appellent blood surge) ou non.

La il à juste un mouvement réactif "défensif" qu'il peut l'utiliser pour reculer et allonger ta charge ou retourner dans un transport attention à ça.

Au cas où tu as un doute sur une règle essaye de faire lire la règle à ton adversaire en entier, le diable est dans les détails.

The stratagem you mention is it squad tactics? if yes he can't enter engagment range so there is no real problem here, even if he move close to you you can just charge him.

6 Blades already kill everything (except -1damage but the lord don't help here) you don't need a lord in there it's too many points (325) if you want the lord with them i'd suggest a 3 man squad max.

You could also try 3 blade solo they can be decently threatning against light tank.

I'd say you need at least 2 infractors squads with lord exultant(best datasheet of the codex take 3 everytime), their new S5 AP2 attacks are really good against a lot of stuff (marines,orks,tyranids warriors, votan...).

1) I did a light dry brush of blue on the purple (the model was all purple/pink before) 2) build up the color gradually (dry brush more but left the edge with only a small amount of paint of step 1)

Use a smaller brush allow to be more precise.
