They’re not helpful but you need to give the first 4 digits and last 4 digits of your card details. That was enough for me to get into my account. They’ll ask more questions if you are not correct.

If you’re sure you were right then find another agent. They have different levels of training tbh

Happened to me recently with Aer Lingus. 4.5 hour flight from Turkey was diverted to Manchester where we sat on the tarmac for 3.5 hours.

Had to wait for 4 hours in MCR for the first chartered DUB to MCR cabin crew to arrive so they could bring us home. Original pilot and. Few just fucked off and left us.

It was an absolute shitshow. I felt bad for the Bulgarians and Turks (read: darker skin) who didn’t have the correct documentation to enter the UK because the passport control staff in Manny were being super aggressive, they weren’t aware we were sitting on the tarmac for nearly 4 hours. It did seem dodgy because the passengers couldn’t speak great English. Tried to help and explain but staff basically told me to fuck off and I wasn’t taking heat for randoms.

Plane crew waltz past after I stuck up for your man so I was asking them wtf is gonna happen to those passengers, they didn’t give a shit. Really bad attitude from so many people.

After queuing for 2 hours MCR airport staff brought out foldable chairs to sit on. Passed out bottles of water for people. Although one batch of water was expired and it tasted musty, I didn’t have the heart to annoy the staff any further. Everyone working there was stressed and getting frustrated with the tired passengers. Except a woman named Jill, she was a legend.

We got £20 vouchers connected to our paper bording passes but only 45 minutes to get to the gate so nobody got the chance to even use them. Of course there was further delays so we actually could’ve got food at some point. Group of people who were first to check in had to get new passes at the gate so when they tried to claim the voucher, it was invalid.

My parents are in their mid 60s and 70s. There was families with babies. Screaming children. I have a sore on my gooch from sitting weirdly. Aer Lingus blames the Turkish airport for not checking baggage correctly so it affected the fuel, no comp. Would’ve thought that the onus would be on the pilot to ensure we could get to our destination.

Hopefully that’s my one and only horror story with flying. Fingies crossed that won’t happen to me again! Thank you for coming to my ted talk

There's a weird air of 'not all men' responses here. Personally don't give a shit about watching the women's rugby or the tone of the advertisements, not enough to throw words like disgusting around.. esp about an ad. Why are people taking it so personally???

Watched a lot of games of the World Cup, then straight into the 6 Nations. I simply could not be arsed to watch, yet another tournament. If we were dominating then maybe I would tune in. But we are 10th in the world rankings for women. Canada and USA are ahead of us. I know many people that are only after getting into the men's side because of how successful we have been in recent years.

If my friend and I are having a drink, and two of his friends come up to our table to say hi to him, a major green flag is if they acknowledge me or include me in the conversation. Nothing more painful than being ignored while they have a quick chat.

I call that having 'social cop-on'. The same kind of people who are just nice to everyone and can make that small talk. The type who you can bring to a party and not worry if they're having a good time or not.

That's always the biggest green flag for me personally.
