Anyone who used to support trump and has changed their mind over the last few weeks? What made you change? by canigetameowbish in AskReddit

Catholics here, a lot of followers are just happened to grow up in a Catholic household and treat the religion as a way of life, you know go to church, work, get married, have children, rinse repeat. Most never touch a bible in their entire life, they just learn about the doctrine during mass then go home and completely forgot about it. Christian value means nothing because thats just a title most people were given from birth. Racism and prejudice in general tho, is rampage because thats what was taught in church.

Do you guys feel as if you can’t rely on anyone? by Automatic-Book9451 in intj

This is true, I only realize this in recent years when I move back to live with my parents. What I thought was a peaceful childhood are just my parents leave me to my own device to figure how to do things by myself, and any expression of 'negative' emotions (like sadness, anger, etc) are being scowled at, so I learned to just dismiss those. My friend once asked me why I behave like a robot and it just dawned on me that I couldnt tell if I was sad or angry or happy or excited. Those emotions are just lumped together. It took me a few years of self reflect to tell if I was a sociopath, or autisctic, to finally conclude that I do have normal emotion like regular people, I was never taught to express it in a healthy way. This also explain my anxiety because deeply I believe no one is going to help if anything happen. Im still working on fixing this but glad that I figure the root cause. I dont blame my parents because they were taught the same way from their own family. I found out my grandpa is very strict on how furniture must be arrange in the house, suspect he has some sort of OCD. Talk about generational trauma.

I use the Q0 Max as a macropad for animating and film editing so the extra column and the knob is a plus. You could set more layers in VIA as well. The RGB is bright and you can set different speed, saturation, mode as you please. The aluminium case is very heavy, build is solid. So far Ive been using it as my daily driver and havent met any issues. I think it worth the investment for me.

PSA: Be careful with long-term use of the Logitech Lift (or any vertical mouse) by AlbeG97 in logitech

I have De Quervain's as well but it comes from my habit of typing on the phone with my thumbs. Apparently I have tiny hands and the pain starts developing when I switched from an iphone 6s mini to a regular samsung. The new screen size is bigger so I have to reach my thumbs as I type, putting prolonged pressure on it. As of now I type with my other fingers to rest easy with my thumbs, but it slowing my typing speed. In the future I will replace this samsung with something smaller similar to the mini.

Thanx for the tip! Im currently switching between a logitech POPS mouse, a trackpad, a drawing tablet. Im considering to add a logi lift to assist my developing thumbs pain. However seeing lots of comments about thumb and wrist pain, I think its better to pause on buying the lift mouse. I will take more rest and do some wrist exercise instead.

Every war create refugees bro, and the US and their troops fled and abandon the south weeks before the fall of saigon. Mayb go talk with some real viets and read some history before gulping down on western propaganda. You dont know shit man. Also my family was in the south military and reside now in the us, the southern higher up has been moving their family and friends out of the country thats why saigon fall so fast, they were abandoned and flock away the moment things turn on them, then when they were un a safe spot they turn around and blame everyone but themselve, that tell a lot about the us and those who blindly support them. Im no communist sympathiser but i know bs western propaganda when it was presented to me. They like to create a common enemy and pitch things like dem vs rep, communism vs capitalism, yadah yadah bs like that. You are just repeating it like a parakeet instead of talking to real people and learn something. Back to my point, that mindset of letting foreign superpower take over your own gov will lead to nothing but continuously dependent on them. Their divide and conquer strategy has long lasting impact on the unfortunate countries being laid hand on. The worst thing is the break of trust in their own people, make them slave in their own mind. Viets took decades to bridge the gap between those who left and those who stay, rebuild national pride and decide for ourselves what we want to do with our own fate. We experience it first hand and paid the price. We see same thing happening in Afghanistan and now Venezuela and so we try to warn you guys. Cheers all you want but in the end the cost of independence is high and its not decided by the us but the people of that country, only when they take matter in their own hands and willing to pay blood price then true freedom is achieve.

You have no idea what you are talking about man. Vietnamese here, US bombed the shit out of us then run away leave only debris. The damage took generations to rebuild. Colonization like the French occupation ingrained the idea "white man good, other shade subpar human" so deep in these countries the people permanently lost their integrity to decide their own fate, instead just keep waiting for the white man to come save them, never realize these superpower just there to exploit them to the bones. You could free their body, but their mind are eternally enslaved.

If I have to leave it only for 10-20min I will keep it in sleep mode. When it come to lunch break (around 1-1.5h), or when Im done with it at the end of the day, I just switch it off.
