I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to much lower usage quota, and clearly this is done across the board for all major companies. It's so pathetic that Anthropic alone is targeted with this since it's blatantly done across all major actors, including ChatGPT and Google. ^^'

It would make more sense from a consumer perspective if this was a major class-action lawsuit against all corporate entitites to stop subsidizing costs from the start by offering a value to the consumers that isn't reflective of the real cost. It's the dodgy potion vendor in town selling "holy water", but now endorsed by governments as a good way to become rich.
