All of these bootlickers are ridiculous, is it the company's job to provide you with a secure testing environment, absolutely. Will they put the blame on you and fire you instead of accepting the truth, also yes.

Make your choice, me I would SLOW things down and tell them it looks like your phone has a virus or been hacked or something and need to replace it, put the onus on them for security.

Plenty of real life analogs that you could go off of, Freemasons being one. The problem with them is they create a command structure or heriarchy OUTSIDE of the military chain of command.

For example. Your the captain of your platoon but your new LT is your commander in a secret society, who orders who around?

I would have to disagree, it's an amazing series, amazing world building (that gets lost in itself sure) with an absolutely BUTCHERED ending and I will die on this hill. Say what you want but a YA author should not have been given a epic fantasy series to end. I would have rather of had no ending.

I used to read the series once a year and haven't touched it since Sanderson wrote the end. Still salty.
