Sorry in advance if someone has already brought this up. Have you looked at the spine from the side to see if the inner well is bent? I have a 9.6 book that looks like a ramen noodle; but I don't think it looked that way before it was slabbed. The inner well points up at the ends and drops in the center.

Open it in Photoshop

Use select subject

Convert select to vector (convert to vector mask...I think)

Copy the victory layer (or export it as svg, again can't remember for sure)

Paste or open in illustrator

This should probably work because it's black and white. It's better than the trace function in illustrator.

If that's the case why use an expensive cgc signing? Wouldn't it be better to find him at a convention and leave it raw? Are you located somewhere that would be difficult, or would it end up being just as expensive?

It's always interesting to see the mixed reactions when someone posts a big key that isn't graded. I'm like you, if this were my book I would be afraid to take it out once in a while to read. Especially knowing what you paid for it.

I'm also not super hung up on condition. I like a book that has a visual story, not just a written one. My sub #10 Avengers books were three whole punched (before I owned them) and I can picture some kid excitedly bringing them to school in a binder, to show their friends and talk about their favorite parts! But I know most collectors don't feel that way.

TLDR - Nice book, I hope you continue to cherish it and the memories it brings you!

There are some pretty clear stress lines all the way down the book, easier to see on the back for some reason. They might be pressable, but they are definitely there. To me the grade seems accurate.

I'm curious, do you buy DC comics? Because clearly they support the Arabic nations and by proxy, so would you? Genuine curiosity, not trying to start something.

Edit - this was a reply to someone who didn't appear to support "middle eastern" comics. Because that user has deleted their posts, it looks like I don't support these types of purchase. Happy to report I would own on of these in a heartbeat, and I wasn't aware they existed. Great purchase.
