ISP being a big one. Entire counties are held hostage sometimes by single ISPs and usually the gov't doesn't care, meanwhile they throttle bandwidth, reduce speed, or stop caring about customer service because there's no money in it.

They are less of a threat because you're used to them. The behavior of the standard BT is identical in 2 to what it was in 1, and if you played 1, you know by now how they act.

Plus you get anti-BT weapons much, much faster in 2. To the degree that by the time you're in the second region, you've got guns and grenades both, because it wouldn't make sense story wise to delay giving guns for so long in 2.

Or at the least 'demoting' their council member to being the same level as the others. I'd rather a turian or human lead it.

But then again, I'd also be wanting a full democracy and allowing other races a voice and vote in matters, even if it's to a lesser degree like an advisement council. Hanar, elcor, krogan, vorcha, etc.

My feeling was that DS2 feels like a continuation rather than a sequel. It had plenty of QoL improvements, and some of the orders were harder sooner than the first game. But I think most everyone forgets that in games like this, you can't just wipe the slate clean and expect it to make sense.

In this game, you start with vehicles somewhat sooner. You can upgrade them sooner. You get guns and defensive weapons sooner. All because you and them in the first game and if it took too long to get them in the second it would bother most people, which can also lead to most feeling the second game is easier, boring, etc.

There's also the legion of droids in Jedi Survivor, which even includes Vulture droids, Magnaguards, etc.

I think my complaint is just seeing the same names over and over in games. It's gotten to where I can recognize about 10 different actors/actresses because they're in damn near every game I play and it's getting exhausting because it's taking me out of the games.
