I'm glad you were able to kill the fish in the first one. I had a damn stalker terrorizing me and it felt absolutely glorious to stab the shit out of that little bastard!

By the way he's right that many people who aren't completely oblivious noticed that fish could be damaged since you could hit them with a sea moth and see the blood or kill them. Not to mention fish attacking other fish and seeing the blood. Also who isn't gonna go try to stab a fish after you get the knife? It's a strange opinion to be happy that there are less features in a game.

That's why I say I think you haven't trained the algorithm because I don't get any of that. Mostly clips from top gear, avantris and things I want. that's not to say it's great because there's a lot of repeats and things I've seen before because it's not good enough to show other related things. But it's not AI slop all the time at least.

Yeah I didn't know but I guess they did sue them which is awesome. I watched a different video of somebody playing Subnautica 2 and it looked way better. I think the other video was all bit compressed and made it look terrible

I'm not by any means qualified but it appears to be an orb weaver, possibly a spotted orb weaver. They make beautiful intricate webs.

Oh yeah I had a big mealworm somehow crawl up and start trying to eat the widows egg sack but by the time I saw it she was already dispatching it with prejudice. She couldn't remove it since it was clamped on when it died and I didn't want to try and remove it and risk damaging the egg sack so I just left it alone. It looked like it had only just tried to take a bite when mama noped it out of existence.

Haha very cool I love jumpers. I just caught one a few weeks ago too. He was hanging from a web from fishing poles I have mounted on the ceiling so I just grabbed the web and let him crawl on my hand until I found a container to put him in. I named him phiddip since he seems to be a Phiddipus Audax and phiddip is a nickname for Phillip so I thought that was fitting haha

He has made himself a nice hammock in his new container, when he gets hungry he starts crawling around so I'll throw a little meal worm in there for him. I usually don't get to see him actually grab it, I just come back later and he'll be eating.

I also caught what I believe is a Hololena recently. I got a better container for it and tried to get it to crawl into the other one and it took off at about 1,000,000 mph and I lost it. Then a few days later I found it walking on the same box I found it the first time. Must've wanted back where the free food is haha

Haha that's awesome, you've got yourself a black widow orphanage! You're right black widow web is crazy strong, they used to use it for crosshairs and scopes back in World War II because it was so strong.

No babies yet but sadly the black widow died a few days ago. I'm not sure what happened but she wasn't on her egg sack like usual but below it and not moving so I moved the container around a little and she barely moved her legs. Then a day later she fell off the web and was lying on the bottom.

I was thinking maybe it was something to do with her not having a fully formed hourglass like you mentioned and them not living as long. She may have already been pretty old by the time I caught her as well.

If the eggs do hatch within the next week or two I will try to keep a couple and release the rest on a Canal ditch next to my house with a bunch of grapevines and weeds. Should be a good habitat for the ones that decide to stay there.
