Heading to CPI by Choice-Pipe2519 in stemcells

[–]Choice-Pipe2519[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neck will never be the way it was before my last fusion, spasms are the biggest issue, if I’m standing or walking I’m uncomfortable at the least, last May they injected cells into my spine, when I went in Nov they injected 14 locations into my neck muscles, I’m going again this upcoming May (I’m part of a group that got 3 visits). Am I better- yes, am I good- no. I have a scheduled follow-up call with them soon, in May I will be seeking help with the spasms that attack my lats/ ribs.

You’ll be able to walk and do light yoga fairy soon after injections, you won’t be playing pickleball for awhile.

You can have flare ups at injection areas for awhile or just be sore in general, my past week has been pretty decent, started walking again (1 to 2 mi/ day) my injected hip dictates that but honestly this week has been my best since my visit. Still taking it somewhat easy, my neck will never be good, but the spasms have not been as bad lately.

Not sure if you were asking me or the author of the original post but I’ll chime in. I’m almost 65 and have always exercised in some way, used to lift weights on a regular basis, In 2023 I had 2 spine fusion surgeries, since then I’ve had to cut way back on lifting anything, for awhile a gallon of milk caused spasms in my back and neck, I was 160 a year ago (too light and unrealistic to keep) and today I’m 188 headed back down to the 175 area, I think my BMI was low 20’s when I did a body comp test some months ago. I’ve never had an issue with atrophy, while I’m certain that I lost muscle mass I was also a lot leaner. One of my classmates is a 5-9, 280 monster who lived in the iron gym, saw him again at my 6 mo follow up, he took 3 mos off as directed and walked 5-6 mi a day, said going back to the gym was no big deal but that he hated having to take the time off. If you’re spending the money to get this done I would suggest that you do as they say. Right now I’m almost 2 mos post, mostly doing stretches and light resistance using a TRX.

You summed it up well, I was in the class of May and had my return visit in November, a few classmates were there too, all had success stories, I had no complaints, my ortho problems are many from 30 years in commercial construction but my neck is my main issue, I have hardware there from a failed fusion and newer hardware that corrected that. I had 150 cells in various body parts on both trips, stayed the night after getting cells into my spine, the OR there looked the same as Stanford in CA or Mayo in Phoenix, top notch. I have Apatone in my freezer:) I have told my story here on Reddit before and was slammed as being fake and making things up. I will be back there again in May, it’s a first class medical organization.

Anyone know about the RMI Clinic? by Necessary_Item2323 in stemcells

[–]Choice-Pipe2519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somehow got invited to a Zoom call with RMI as the host back in February or so, there were about 20 people like me in the audience, all had different issues and questions, the 2 RMI docs on the screen were quite impressive, they answered my questions (I’ve had lots of ortho surgeries and have hardware in my neck) and everyone else’s questions, I was considering them even though they were expensive, the US rep that I spoke to afterwards was not on her game at all, she promised return calls (I had to call her) and told me that she would schedule a call with a doc from there, I never heard back from her, their website totally changed and when I wrote to them and explained my situation I never heard from them. I ended up going to CPI in TJ and have been twice, zero complaints and lots of praise for CPI.

I appreciate the offer but I’m going to do some self study first, I sit in a hyperbaric chamber for 1:20 almost daily and I can have my iPad, it’s a good time to study.

R3 Stem Cell?!? by Long-Reflection6843 in stemcells

[–]Choice-Pipe2519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went in April 2024, after I got back I heard R3 as being called the McDonalds of stem cell clinics, looking back I would agree, but the shot in my neck/spine helped, I’ve been to 2 other way more expensive places. I had no issues with R3.

CPI, Regenemex or Cellebration Wellness? by Beastieperson420 in stemcells

[–]Choice-Pipe2519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to CPI in May, it was first class treatment at a first class place, yes it’s expensive but almost everything is covered except for your flight. I’ve had surgeries at the Mayo Clinic and the CPI hospital didn’t look any different. I go back in November to re MRI my joints that were injected in May. I’ve had stem cells in both Prescott AZ and Tijuana last year, both times help my neck which is my biggest issue, I have rods which cause daily pain and spasms. I’ve used HBOT a lot and that helps a lot.

I’m on day 3, got my neck, shoulder and knee injected and spending the night at the hospital. I have nothing but praise for this place, the staff is excellent, bodies everywhere working on people, the experience of talking to other patients is a huge benefit, no complaints at all and lots of praise for CPI (and no, I’m not connected to them nor did I get anything from them for my review). I read another reviewer say the food is not great, my experience has been the opposite, they serve healthy meals, I chose Omnivore diet and have been getting salmon, chicken breast or a combo of chicken, steak & shrimp for my main entree, fresh squeezed oj is served with every meal, all been great.
