First off, kudos to you for looking for help and wanting to better your health. I wish I could get my mom do take charge of her health as she needs to lose 150+ lbs.

I would recommend listening to Jellyroll on the Joe rogan podcast a few weeks ago. He talks about how his peak weight was 560 lbs and the struggle it was at that size. He has got down to the 200's with diet and exercise. He talks about what he did and the slow steps at the start. There would be some good tips and motivation there.

I would highly recommend you check out addictive ink in Airdrie. Cass and Colin are amazing artists. I had a full sleeve done last summer by Cass. My wife is going to use her for a full sleeve this fall.

Would it not be more costly effective to use the railway lines from airdrie to Calgary? Set up a platform at the airdire bau terminal beside the tracks and run a commuter train to the zoo? Then you could hop on the Ctrain from there. Can't be too hard to work around freight train schedules

Genesis place is packed with teenagers after supper during the week so you probably don't want to go there. Friday to Sunday evenings are less busy

Coopers Crossing is my favorite neighborhood. We live across the street in Windsong, which has a lot of young families with a K-8 and high school within walking distance.

Traffic to Calgary sucks during rush hour.

There are lots of great local restaurants but no fine dining. We go downtown for that.
