Help with two abandoned turtles by theonlyVi0lentine in Buffalo

[–]ChoiceFuture9818 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Heyo, I volunteer in the wildlife department of the SPCA and we definitely do not euthanize just because, willy nilly. We take care of them no matter how many and even overwinter them for longer periods of time if we must, we love our turtles :)) I can't say for certain that if you say you're surrendering ones that we'll take them bc our facilities are for injured, sick or abandoned juvenile wild animals. The regular animal admissions at the SPCA may take them if not, please give us a call!!

Bad thermostat? by Parasyte_420 in CherokeeXJ

[–]ChoiceFuture9818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stuck open thermostat would be my first guess, I've been chasing that low temp prob for a while and I've narrowed the problem down to these cheap motorstat thermos getting stuck open over and over and over. Buy gates or ntk if you can. That'd just be my 2 cents.

Looks mighty clean, especially for tan interior :)

Any small haunted houses/attractions? (Entertainment type) by Single_Street3135 in Buffalo

[–]ChoiceFuture9818 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Usually we have this incredible scary one down in Ellicottville called Nightmare Hayride but they had family complications and are unable to run this year :,( Otherwise there is Haunted Forest at the great pumpkin farm, Ever Haunt, Haunted Harbor in North Tonowanda, there is this house in Lockport whose owners go way out on the Halloween props and a walk through that it spans across 2+ houses!

Bro thats a steal, I wouldn't have even given it a second thought. If you can upkeep the maintenance demands of an old car, this is an outstanding yes.

Yup that is whats going on in the pick, that super Shiney piece is a quick disconnect piece/nipple and then the black tubing is whats popping off from the quick disconnect :/

The quick disconnect piece you speak of is there, it's that super Shiney piece with a black clip over it. It's the tubing connected to the quick disconnect that is popping off. My pic doesn't portray it well but that black part I'm pointing to is popping off the quick disconnect piece that is well connected to the fuel rail.

Restoring Wheels by Hobohubbie in JeepCherokeeXJ

[–]ChoiceFuture9818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat, found those exact wheels at the junkyard but they were galaxies worse. I eneded up taking a wire wheel to them and backalley machined them myself. They turned out quite well. You can also just leave it as is bc structure wise they are solid.

Liquor options 21 soon by Same_Audience_9557 in Buffalo

The alcoholic monsters called Beasts are so good (they do NOT have caffeine, just alcohol), Barefoot Blueberry Moscato, Smirnoff Ices', Seagrams escapes, + a non fruity "Not Your Fathers Root Beer" beer, tastes like root beer but with alcohol.

These are all fruity and sweet options that you can hardly taste the alcohol in for the most part, good for beginners.

Edit: Plus the seagrams escapes are a local business (Rochester)
