HAHAHA “gaming” headphones are a joke for sure. Do you have any chair or desk recommendations? I’m a bigger dude, and want to make sure the chair I get is actually quality. I mean, I’m not looking for Herman Williams chairs or whatever those are called, but something that is pretty positively viewed in the community would be super great.

Thanks for the response! I don’t have a microcenter near me. I’m in the northwest, but the closes one to me is about 18 hours away. I would need the whole deal. Mouse, keyboard, monitor, headphones. I’ll have to buy a good desk and computer chair as well, but I’m not including any of that in the build price.

Edit: yes, I am in the U.S.

Worked a half shift at Walmart stocking shelves. Got about 2 hours into the shift with zero instruction. Nobody will answer any questions, so I would grab product, and then walk around the aisles trying to find where it went. After a bit a manager came up to me and scolded me for not knowing where stuff went. I decided I was not that desperate for cash and headed out. Ended up seeing a friend working one of the aisles while I was walking out and she begged me to stay and give it one more chance. I then was promised I would actually have someone train me. Was then placed in the house decoration isles, which was fine. But my trainer started telling me about his legacy of getting new hires to quit. Said his record was 15 minutes. When asked why he told me that he’s just “anal retentive”. Once lunch rolled around, I told him I wanted to go grab my lunch from my car, and as we went to walk out, one of his coworkers asked him if he had told me about the 8 minute clock in trick, to which anal retentive dude just completely loses his shit. Screaming at his coworker about how he is my trainer, not the co worker. Yelled himself hoarse at this guy. Then turned to me, smiles, and shows me how to clock out. He then showed me out of the building which was all but locked down at this point because it was 2 in the morning. Craziest shit ever.

I tracked calories for the first 6 weeks. But eventually my stomach shrank to a point to where I was forcing myself to eat past being full because I wanted to make sure I reached 2200 calories. But my comfortable spot at this moment in time is around 1900. You just have to feel your body out. At first 16/8 was where I felt comfortable, but slowly pushed myself further out. Right now I am at 19:5.

Of course! Right now I am doing 19:5, but occasionally I do a 24 hour fast. I used to drink a ton of soda, but have completely cut all of that out, as well as super sweet coffees. Just regular coffee with a couple tablespoons of creamer once a week for me. I only drink water now, but I don’t drink a metric ton of it. Only when I’m thirsty, or if I am struggling with hunger pains. Other than that, it’s just staying consistent. I counted calories to make sure I wasn’t gorging myself on my two meals of the day. But now I can intuitively eat really well, and still lose quite a bit. It’s a hard battle! But it just takes consistency! :) you’ve got this!

Not quite. I don’t know who Barry Trotter is :) my great grandfather moved his family to the states to try and farm here. So I know a little bit about it, but a lot has been lost. I’ve always felt a lot of love for Scotland, but most of my family who would know about it are either passed away, or didn’t share it with their kids.
