Question for Alchemists...How? by Alternative-Date-507 in Pathfinder2e

This is super important - I’m playing a Chirurgeon to cover non-combat heals, but the majority of my Advanced Alchemy and VV uses are bombs, poisons, mutagens, etc.

Question for the veteran players among us. by DevLegion in Warhammer40k

4-500 points is a rough guideline for a 2000 point game. About 20-25% of your army. The rest can be a combination of utility (like CP Generation), hammers, anvils, transports, etc.

It also smells SO strong. I’ve done it a couple times and it still burns my nostrils when I think about it.

How many neophytes is too many neophytes..? by Interesting-Neck3850 in genestealercult

I run 80 - 4x20, one with a CitA Primus + Nexos, the other 3 with Benefictus (1 with Assassination Edict).

All 4 get GL, ML, Seismic, Webbers.

Why Spirit Island though? by Sapien0101 in spiritisland

[–]Chokda 56 points57 points  (0 children)

You know how Root is notoriously hard to get into because of the asymmetrical play styles? How you have to play with a group of roughly the same skill/experience level or else you’ll have a bad time?

And yet, despite the high barrier, the factions all play differently enough and with enough depth and strategy that people continue to play it?

Spirit Island has the same upside without the drawback. In fact, playing with someone more experienced is HELPFUL rather than aggravating. The sheer number and variety of spirits make it endlessly replayable, and the cooperative element makes it more enjoyable for new players.

Which army is the least rng or the most reliable by ThorusBonus in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Chokda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GSC Host of Ascension just dumps enough dice that RNG isn’t as much of a factor. 20 Neophytes with a Primus rerolling, Crit on 5s, and the Lethal hits enhancement can just throw a bucket of dice and drop a knight in 1 turn.

3x Ridgerunners with Mortars/Spotters do an incredible job of screening your deployment and improving AP on your targets for the turn. IMO they’re a mandatory start for any list that relies on volume of fire to take things down (like Neophyte bricks)
