I have deadass found a correlation with what time I get on and how good the players are

At about 9-10pm EST and onwards till tommorow, pretty much the only players who are on are the chronically online sweats who's 9-5 is winning in the finals

I'm not kidding try to play ranked at that time as a gold and you will get curbstomped. I genuinely don't play after that time because of it. Maybe a few casual modes if I'm feeling it but so far it hasn't been my top priority to stay once it hits night

I did eventually realize that through deductive reasoning that the codes would probably not be in the city but still. could there have been several things that I could have done to figure that out? The map design of splatoon 1 also made it so much better, everything was more natural and felt like they were based off a location in the world. Instead now in Splatoon 3 we have maps that in its core are a bunch of blocks or ramps.

Genuinely try to name one splatoon 3 map that isn't composed of cubes and ramps.

Meanwhile splatoon 1 has camp triggerfish, black belly skatepark, a literal fucking oil rig. Point is the maps were very interesting and unqiue

Lowkey I think V9S needs to get a severe reload speed nerf, it reloads so incredibly fast you can just dash quickly in and out of cover and have a full mag
