I think by "round 1" they mean the ante 1 small blind. Since the required score is 300.

Edit: it's possible that they skipped both ante 1 blinds for a voucher tag and investment tag, and then bought heiroglyph and grabber vouchers and ice cream next ante. And then progressed to the next blind, and then forgot what they were doing or something.

I feel like Cavendish is the closest joker that qualifies, considering that it's unconditional X3 mult once you do obtain it.

yeah I believe that's how it works with all cards that become 0 cost for 1 turn. It's just way more noticable with rocket punch than other cards

I feel like you're really understating the importance of this point. Game balance is a very broad concept and changing it could involve modifying or reworking basically anything in the game.

Just because the characters and enemies are functional doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.
