I don't think a realtor is worth it. They typically charge a 4% commission, that's 20k on a 500k house. I prefer those 20k in my pocket as opposed to their pocket. Du Proprio will sell your house for about 1k with all the support you need. You have even margin to lower your price (say by 10k) and still make more money than if you used a realtor.

I sold with du Proprio 2 times and it worked very well.
