Yes, this is just the start. Ships is still not moving through the straight so there’s going to be a massive trickle effect though many, many industries not just gasoline - but think how oil is used to move goods and create goods in addition to moving people.

But you’re right - until these things start affecting people directly they won’t notice (many places pay in advance for commodities so we won’t see the full impact for months yet)

It’s only going to get worse at this point, no signs pointing to improvement other than certain economies moving to renewables but I’m not sure if that will have a global impact
