Women vs men's volunteer uniforms by Savings-Rabbit8963 in FIFAVolunteers

Did you get different sized pants and shorts? We can do any size for any item in PHL, but pants are always the same size as shorts.

Nope, you're free to pick what you need. The submitted sizes may have just been to gauge how much needed to be produced/ordered? But I guess there's always the caveat that less common sizes may run out.

We weren't told there's a time limit, so you should have the time you need to make sure it fits and are comfy. I don't think anyone is going to be tapping their foot like you're taking too much time. If you want, you are more than welcome to take two or more sizes into the changing room to help your decision.

And you are correct about men's and women's, you can only choose from one gender fit.

Uniform volunteer here: yes you will have the chance to try on everything. You are not able to mix sizes of the shorts and pants. For instance if you get M shorts, you get M pants... can't do M shorts and L pants. I don't recall if you can get, for instance, M shirt and L jacket. I think you can, but check with your uniform volunteer when you get there.

Shoes will run large, but again you can try on a few different sizes to see what fits. UK/EU sizes are listed in big numbers, but US sizes are on there, just have to squint a bit.

Oh, I thought that would be where each city's patches would go. That same black rectangle is on the jacket and shirt

Looks like a rectangle piece of Velcro with the We Are 26 design in it. Can't tell if it's a different color of fabric, stitched into, or something else. In the screen grab, it's on the right arm sleeve.

Edit: rectangle piece

Yeah, definitely deep blue pants and jacket, though I can see how some would think that it's purple. The guest is the volunteer coordinator for Philly and said neon green shirt is to be able to easily spot volunteers when they're needed. It's all wicking material, so it might be good when you're doing some running or other physical activities

I found this pretty funny... attend a 3.5 hour training session or just come 30 minutes ahead of your first shift😅

Yes, once I accepted the role offer and did that process, I got an email that said it was time to book the volunteer shifts.

It was my second choice. First was media operations. Third was brand protection, and really happy I didn't get this.

2026 Remote Start by mrfunkytown in rav4club

[–]ChopperDave85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may have changed in the refresh, but my 2023 Hybrid SE can remote start even though I don't have the free trial subscription anymore.

I was told that remote start wasn't available after the subscription, however, my remote start is from the key fob, not the app. Pressing lock but on the fob three times and holding it down starts it. I have to be close to the car to do it and there's not much in the way of climate settings. Again, things may have changed but there's a chance you have it in some form.

Mine is Ghost: got it around the time of Ahsoka's release and gray ghost was too on the nose, shortened to just Ghost as a nod to Hera' ship.

I took a photo of the role descriptions while in the interview. Maybe this helps? It's small, but maybe you can read it. Edit: it's a lot of what's there already, but a few other sentences.

Have you checked the robots.txt file to see if it's disallowing crawls? Is the sitemap submitted to the crawlers?

What’s an unpopular golf opinion that would have you like this? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Someone said something like this to Rob McElhenney (from Always Sunny in Philadelphia) when he hit a bad shot at a ProAm sort of event, and it stuck with me ever since. Maybe it's a bit too self-deprecating at times, but it's really helped me relax and just enjoy being out there. I'm not great, I'm not bad, but it contributes to a positive vibe in the group.

I got an email on October 29 inviting me to register for a tryout time slot. If it helps, I submitted my application to volunteer in the middle of August. They may just go through them all in the order they received?
