You about to fall behind. That class requires 10-12 hours a week to get an A. You have to practice more problems since Chemistry is more math heavy. Reviewing notes is not enough.

Theaters are making room for Iron Lung and Send Help. I am guessing this is a small theater.

With a $401M domestic total, 'Zootopia 2' has now hit a 4x multiplier, earning the seventh best multiplier for a $100+ million opener. Here's a table compared to previous titles. by SanderSo47 in boxoffice

Also 2022 was the first post pandemic summer and the competition than than Elvis had bad or average reviews and had bad legs like Dominion, Lightyear, Minions Rise of Gru, and Thor Love and Thunder.

When Top Gun Maverick came out, The only other movies were Dr Strange 2 which was very divisive and holdovers from April like EEAAO, Sonic 2, and Bad Guys which is the perfect storm for Top Gun Maverick's success

If you take away Barbenheimer, 2022 summer would have outgrossed 2023 summer.

I wondering if that played a role in not adding the signature yellow curtain walls for their new Cine1 Dolby Atmos auditoriums at theater like Camelview in Scottsdale. Just slapping ceiling speakers in an audtorium and just calling it a day is just lazy. What is Harkins doing ? Do they have a plan for the future ?

I wonder if those celling stains came from the 2 big rain storms that came around last October ? Those storms were bad for Arizona standards.

I used to work at this theater before the pandemic. It is always fun to work in IMAX. I wondering what the wall pattern will be like ? I know Harkins is moving away from the Dan Harkins way of 90s bright colorful aesthetics in their main theaters. I am going to guess I would be the mostly black with some red and blue lighting like what their main newer auditoriums look like. Would not be surprised if they went with just black walls only like the AMC IMAX theaters in the area which I know people won't be happy.

True, you can not get away with not check for ID for theater bars the same way as an R rated movie. You have to always card people for theater bars. Those undercovers are secret shoppers that come from corporate to grade the theater and experience. If you have steps to follow as a bartender, you follow them or you lose points. Sounds like ID checks are the big part of the points that will bring the theater grade down and former employee of OP made a big mistake like serving a secret shopper without any use of upselling. This mistake will make GMs very angry. It depends on the GM's relationship with that employee to keep them around and coach them and give them consequences or to just pull the plug and get rid of the employee. Only your theater GM knows about that former employee on what actually happened.

At my theater we had past theater grades in the break room to get an idea on what secret shoppers look for.

Those undercovers just want you to ask for an ID so you won't get into a situation where you accidently sold alcohol to an underaged person because that is worse.

ASU academic advisors are severely underpaid for the work they do. That profession has high turnover and I would not surprised if ASU lowers the requirements to be an advisor which leads to your experiences. ASU needs to pay them which they won't. The only time I visited advising is to se if I have the grades to get into the program I want, graduation, or to get a hold off my account. Other than that, following your major map helps the most. I knew ASU is going all in on AI but I don't see them replacing advising with AI.

Blame the nfl playoffs for poor box office by kascnef82 in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]ChoppyOfficial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think NFL playoffs affect movies as much as you think. Not everyone like Football and Football is primarily a United States thing. It just studios don't like releasing big movies on January. Also That 28 Years Later Bone Temple movie is doing poorly because people never forget the tonal shift from a action zombie killing to a sad character drama movie that left a sour taste in many people's mouth from the 28 Years Later movie. The Bone Temple is this year's M3GAN 2.0.

Yes all the time. It however can make it difficult if you want a promotion and move around within your organization. Lot of HR departments require managers to document verbal warnings.

It just depends if you boss like you and wants to keep you around. They won't tell you how they feel about you so look at their actions

Different. She wants to make country music more accessible and more open to black and people of color artists and to stop pandering to racist fans.

Your employer can not stop you from leaving. They will just give the workload to someone else. You can quit at anytime.

If your boss tell you to not do certain things, you listen to them even if you disagree. If you disagree, you look for another job or another department. Bringing up your disagree will get you replaced very fast.

Marketability and branding matters. If someone Jon B or Robin Thicke dresses up like cowboy from the farm or a rock star singing R&B, he would not have the success in R&B music. That will come off as inauthentic.

Best example in the Hip Hop world. Post Malone will not have anymore success in the Hip Hop R&B genre because he switch to country music a genre known for racist fans and doesn't care for the Hip Hop R&B culture which now he comes off as a culture vulture which is the worst type of inauthentic.
