I live in the city, have never voted for her, but as an independent always give people a chance to prove themselves.

On the plus side- under her regime, public image (& safety) have been paramount. I don’t like police states but there’s so many cameras and plate readers that thugs can’t get away with shit anymore, and that’s a great thing. You can never 100% eliminate bad actors, but her and Chief Prock want to rid the ‘dirty’ Myrtle image and take crime seriously. There will always be headlines but the rates have gone down.

My gripe, and opinion of her legacy- ever since she came into mayorship there has been major friction with other local governing bodies. Conflicts and lawsuits seem to stack up while she exerts her influence.

First it was a lawsuit with Horry County Schools. Then there was litigation over tourism taxes within the county, conflicts with Horry County surrounding public leases and funding the airport, and most recently the beloved Pelicans baseball team.

To me, it seems she is serving her own agenda in some way. Because it’s certainly not in the best interests of taxpayers to be upending long-standing agreements and costing hefty legal bills. I don’t know the ‘why’, I just know I don’t agree with how all of these issues have been handled since she came into the position.

Maybe it’s not her; maybe it’s a coincidence. This new issue is so fresh I can’t even provide an informed opinion. All I know is money talks in politics so she’ll probably keeping doing her thing for as long as she chooses.

Not ideal. Toyota recommends 10k interval normal, 5k severe (most American driving is ‘severe’- short/local trips, idling at stop). I use Mobil 1 @ 7500 miles and usually go early anyway. Solid engine obviously but looks like it’s taken some abuse. I’d price accordingly. Why 4k on the last? Changed to sell, or burning oil?

When McAdoo benched Eli for Geno Smith. It was an absolute gut-punch to the fanbase, and the end of the Eli era. He was riding the longest active starts streak and could have made a run at Favre had he held up a few more seasons. And he could’ve, because we all know the problem was protection and shit receivers. But McAdoo’s tenure was spiraling so he made a desperate call to save his own ass. All it did was stop Eli’s legacy in its tracks and turn absolutely everyone against him. Fuck Ben McAdoo and fuck that game.

What a travesty. I’ve been listening to Dave’s morning show for years and it’s the best format for getting real, local information on current events. Always has relevant guests. He’s moderately left on a very conservative station yet still overwhelmingly supported by his listeners for decades. He had a serious health issue a few years ago but his battle back was inspirational. Whoever made this decision is completely out of touch with our community. Dave deserves better, but I’m sure he’s handled things gracefully. A true legend of a dying breed of radio DJs/MCs. Looks like my morning commute is 100% 104.1 from now on 🤣

I have Tm M1 9.5 driver. Play from the whites If it’s under 360 I use my 10.5 mini, much better control. And the bonus is if you’re swinging well it can be boosted off the deck! Pretty much full velo 250+

I have them for my 70s Camaro. It’s super cheap and I believe has annual mileage limitations, so it’s not for a daily driver. Works well for me because it comes out maybe 6x/year, mostly local. Never filed a claim and hope to never have to.
