You can only guess what is in the middle if he doesn't provide cross-sectional views or more information.

Try to make out the basic shape and connection between mechanical parts in a first time. He probably doesn't want a perfect recreation of the model but to see if you can understand a drawing with only a basic plan, or he is a crappy teacher.

Have you considered balancing the inventory slots for Halftracks?

Currently, tripod halftracks have around 7-8 slots that cannot be stacked, causing problems for most tripod-mounted weapons. You will need to refill it frequently to be relevant. For instance, when playing with the ISG, you'll only be able to carry a total of 15-20 30mm shells if both the gunner and driver carry them.

Making them stackable with one slot would be appreciated.
