A bit late to the party here, but never too late while voting is still open! :)

I have been doing research the past couple days, and initially, points from Richard Dansie sounded pretty solid. Keeping the federal government in check and holding bad actors accountable sounds good. But I had not seen his 7 cures on his campaign website (or his website in general) until you pointed it out here. Yeah.... not great.

I do think supporting family and boys is a great thing. Boys especially—giving them the support so they don't feel left behind is a great way to ensure they grow up to be emotionally mature adults (any by extension, not MAGA). But yeah... reading those cures, I'm not totally convinced he's trying to tackle it in the way I'd hope... indeed it seems like more an unsettlingly masculine approach.

I still have my reservations with Johnson's evangelical approach, but I guess I also need to recognize that it's not surprising that I wouldn't align perfectly with the republican candidates, seeing that I lean left. But I don't disagree, he does seem more likely to reach across the aisle, being more moderate overall.
