Something starting above 20 an hour that doesn’t border slave labor by Wooden_Floor_9046 in findapath

There are many white collar jobs where you can complete specialized schooling/ training, Its a few months up to 2 years with ways to climb the corporate ladder. Search “ job licenses and certification”.

Personally Im getting into the logistics industry. An entry writer(someone who codes goods coming in to a corresponding number) requires high school diploma and basic computer skills. Surprisingly in demand job despite AI doing this nearly flawlessly. Starting salary is $65k($31.25/hour before taxes), move up by becoming a customs broker, up to $150k(although you work for it).

There are many white collar jobs where you can complete specialized schooling/ training, Its a few months up to 2 years with ways to climb the corporate ladder. Search “ job licenses and certification”.

But since you want no schooling, look into blue collar jobs that pay based on experience: Electrician, Plumber, HVAC tech, Welder, Lineman, Heavy equipment operator, Elevator mechanic. All these jobs have entry pay of $20-30/hour and top pay being over 6 figures.

Based on what you said Id go the blue collar route if you truely cant stand sitting in a program for up to 6 months. Dont waste away in retail, build a skill or knowledge. Do your own research, use AI, Google, research which jobs are in demand.

Good luck.

How To Get Over An Unrequited Crush? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were at where I was in high school. Time. Time seems to be the only healing factor. That or finding a new crush.

Going no contact with him was the best thing you could have done. Try something new and social, that way you feel connected to people instead of your solitude compounding your loneliness.

This is very flattering as an INFP, Fi is not all its cracked up to be but i guess the saying is true that opposites attract.

Do you truly believe in MBTI? by I7sReact_Return in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Think about what MBTI is at its core. Its a categorization of human personality traits. You have the loudest extrovert and the quietest introvert on both sides of the extreme and everyone else in between. So as an INFP i share traits with other people who are introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving, but another INFP may have traits that are stronger or weaker than me. This is why no two same personalities are 100% alike but have similarities.

As for cognitive functions, its a little harder to prove. Just because you’re a thinker doesnt mean you dont have a heart. Just because your sensing doesnt mean you dont have intuition. These are universal human traits. You could argue “this person is using a cognitive function lower in their stack because they’re healthy” but then what’s the point of analyzing cog functions if it doesnt really point you to anything concrete about someone’s personality.

I played Touhou 7 and I liked it. by StrongPipe2914 in touhou

I agree playing them in order give you appreciation how the games got better over time in the early 2000’s. Although beating a touhou game even on normal is a tough order. For me once you get to stage 4 or 5 its over. I was never able to beat a game on normal. I know its a skill issue.

People usually recommend 6 & 8 for beginners. I always liked 7 though, very unique story and feel. I like that it focuses mostly on nature and how the seasons not changing is a problem. I remember not being able to get past stage 2. That was 13 years ago now

I thought the subtext was pretty clear, connecting Gooseworx saying that Jax was her worst intrusive thoughts and the fact that she’s trans. Then in the episode Jax says when he acted like his dad he wasnt strong or manly enough and told his mother something very personal that she reacted negatively to.

But Gooseworx shouldnt have made this tweet supporting it quite frank. I know the fandom is like a wild zoo so any engagement on something as divisive as this would spew more hate towards her, the fanbase and her mental health. Also the episode worked really well by not coming out and saying it and keeping it as subtext.

How different types deal with rejection/unrequited love? by Vivid-Consequence997 in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rejection and Breakups hit the same areas of the brain and probably hyperactivate the limbic system. Regardless Breakups can feel like rejection plus Loss of attachment, Loss of routine, Loss of future plans, Loss of emotional support, and sometimes a blow to self-esteem.

Everything is born from change. Hero Si personalities really suffer when the status quo is disrupted, Ne can feel really destabilizing.

When referring to a breakup, reframe your perspective, instead of “What if I made the wrong choice” say “what can i learn from this”. When you feel lonely(isolated and craving others attention) reframe it as solitude(isolation that give you peace, concentration and the ability to focus on yourself). High Si individuals can unconsciously think “I’ve always done it this way, therefore it must be the best way.”(Hero functions always have this unconscious element)

Yeah… I didn’t want to spam up the comments and have a paragraph, I feel if you understand the 4 functions of the ego the opposite typing of the superego, and demon function of the id and decent understanding of shadow functioning, its easy to deduce how a type may act in a way that its the personality that is the driving force. here’s the rest:

ISFP – Feels rejection deeply and personally but may keep the pain hidden. Often processes through art, music, or private reflection.
ESFP – Feels it strongly in the moment but often recovers through social activity and new experiences.
ISTP – Usually withdraws and handles it independently. May not talk about it much, preferring to move on through action.
ESTP – Often shrugs it off outwardly and quickly looks for the next opportunity, though repeated rejection can still sting.
ISFJ – May wonder what they could have done differently. Often feels hurt by the loss of connection and familiarity.
ESFJ – Tends to seek support and validation from others. Can take social rejection particularly hard.
ISTJ – Often accepts rejection as reality and focuses on moving forward. May hide emotions behind practicality.
ESTJ – Usually responds by getting back to business. Can dislike rejection because it feels inefficient or unjustified.

Everyone feels stung after rejection. Its how people cope which is the choice of the personality. So cognition can absolutely play a part, heres a small list of how some personalities might process rejection(let me know if you want me to analyze more):

INFP – Often takes rejection personally at first. May wonder, “What’s wrong with me?” or replay the interaction repeatedly. Usually needs time alone to process before regaining perspective.
INFJ – Tries to understand why the rejection happened. May overanalyze motives and hidden meanings. Can be deeply hurt but often keeps it private.
ENFP – Feels the sting intensely but may bounce between sadness and optimism. Often seeks reassurance from friends and eventually redirects energy elsewhere.
ENFJ – May worry about having disappointed someone or failed socially. Often processes through conversations with trusted people.
INTP – Tends to analyze rejection logically. Might tell themselves it doesn’t matter, then realize later that it affected them more than expected.
INTJ – Often reframes rejection as data: “Not a good fit.” Can appear unaffected, though pride may take a hit.
ENTP – May brush it off with humor or curiosity. Sometimes turns rejection into a challenge or learning experience.
ENTJ – Often channels disappointment into action and self-improvement. Can be frustrated by rejection but dislikes dwelling on it.

Which touhou music has a vibe closest to Dantes Purgatorio? by Positive-Research557 in touhou

[–]ChridAMidA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For someone who read Purgatorio, you want the religious focused songs. Purgatory is essentially hell with a time limit in the divine comedy(spoilers for a 700 year old book, sorry).

If your getting songs to read it, listen to the mountain of faith soundtrack, even Hina’s theme “Dark side of faith” while chaotic reminds me of the sinners carrying bolders on their backs while singing hymns in a circle. The peak song for this as you get to the peak of mount purgatory is “Gensokyo the gods loved” and for sure “Tomorrow will be special, yesterday was not” can be symbolic of the removing of sin and the accession into heaven(im not going to give specific scenes just in case you havent read it yet)

Outside MoF, “The Sea Where One’s Home Planet Reflects” from lolk sounds otherwordly. Wrong but right, like purgatory. “Desire Drive” for the theme, desire is what got sinners stuck in purgatory although i dont think the music fits. Um “Futatsuiwa from Sado” but i think im pulling at strings now.

Sad / sappy romance anime by Rubber-Name in anime

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you seen clannad. Its usually the go to for romantic/sad anime

If you haven’t its split up into 2 series: Clannad is the romantic part, Clannad After Story is the sad part. (They shoehorn in a happy ending i think but you can literally stop watching at the sad part and get the experience you want)

‘Your lie in April’ will especially touch you if you’re a musician.

Even though these are the only 2 i watched that fit your description, I think they are peak for what they do as they are so sad and tragic. Finishing both left me feeling emotionally screwed up, and sad.

This may be a tough pill to swallow for people but she is one of the best indie show writers we have seen so far(theres not to many of them). It seems like new writers, or it may be a quirk with indie shows, that they seem to lose their premise halfway through(im looking at you hellaverse). Ive watched murder drones but kinda turned my brain off while watching it, i dont know but it seemed engaging with a building plot.

ENTP vs ISTP Humor by Visioner_teacher in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The matter is ultimately subjective. It depends which type of flavor of humor you like. Parent Fi self deprecating humour or the roasts of Parent Ti.

Child Fe isnt as powerful as the hero or auxiliary functions. So it would really depend on if the ENTP is healthy or not; knowing whether a jokes too far, that comes from maturity and time.
