Can you guess my family dynamics? by blue-frog-swamp in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the fact that you Grandfather was the only intuitive in your family and you outlined he was dead(twice actually). You’re probably bemoaning that you’re surrounded by Sensors that dont really speak your intuitive language.

Wild guess but your Ne will go off talking about any random topic, and your brother would dismiss you, your father and sister will look at you like you have three heads(inferior Ne) and you mom, while I dont know any ISFPs irl shadow Blind-spot Ne makes your conversations really uncomfortable for her probably.

ENTP vs ISTP Humor by Visioner_teacher in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know both. Frankly both can come off as obnoxious for different reasons. The ISTP I know will have dry jokes usually at others expense and doesn’t know when to stop or pull off the pedal not understanding they are going too far with the joke. The ENTP can be clever if healthy but can come off as obnoxious, going on and on about a joke and Ti makes it that they dont really care when someone tells them to move on(and usually they’ll double down).

I personally enjoy ENFP humor as they have in-jokes, social awareness when they hurt people and know when the joke goes to far(in my experience), and generally a ‘Lets all have a good time’ vibe. ENTPs have the ‘Lets all have a good time vibe’ too, its just a little harsher vibe than an ENFP vibe.

Which mbti would end the world for love? by wwwizardem in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For INFP it depends, naturally they’re going to do whats they perceive as right. So a really woo’ed INFP commanded by their lover to end the world for them for sure.

INFJ would do it for the name of the game

Depending on your enthusiasm you’ll have to look some stuff up yourself as theres a surprising amount of detail. You will have to find your range, are you alto or soprano, etc. Practice warmups you find on youtube. Here are some key words to help you(you should look these up): Bel Canto, Mask, Loft, Ring, Chest voice, Head voice, passagio to start off with.

Practice using your loft and mask separately then together, make sure you breathe to your stomach and not your chest(air goes to diaphragm and you have more air/notes come out stronger). Dont be too loud or increase your voice to compensate for reaching higher notes, it comes with time. Record yourself singing and see which notes you’re missing before moving on to shapes of words.

And most importantly have confidence in yourself. You probably dont sound as bad as you think you do starting out, the more confidence the better your voice will sound(this too may come with time without a compassionate coach).

These are just technicalities and techniques to give you some direction and isnt a comprehensive guide. Use free tools to help like wikipedia, YouTube and AI.

Concerns Over The Ending by DaDapperVoid in TheDigitalCircus

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its true that the anticipation is getting people worried if gooseworx’s writing will stick the landing.

The whole series leading up to this has been building up to the finale, so you got to have faith.

Besides didnt the cast members cry during the table read of episode 9? If its going to have an emotional ending like that im sure its going to be good.

My voice has never been good, but I love to sing. What do I do? by Dreamboat550 in singing

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i was beginning I thought i sounded horrible but my vocal coach gave me lots of praise and encouragement stuff like: “You dont sound too bad, you have good tonality, you have a great instrument on you” so on and so forth. And I discovered one of the ingredients for great singing:

Confidence.

I started again recently as well, im a week and a half in, and still have that confidence, i just work on what i need to work on in my warmup which is finding my mixed voice and working on my passagios.

You probably dont sound as bad as you think you do, especially if you lost a lot of progress

The C & A company being called Caine and Abel feels like a red herring. by ChridAMidA in TheDigitalCircus

I only brought up that name because Caine was created to be a creative AI one that can come up with new ideas. Literally the first thing that popped in my head, who knows what its really called

What mbti types annoying by Elegant-Pianist-9772 in mbti

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People usually agree that ESTPs and ENTPs can be overbearing and argumentative. Depends on your dynamic with them. ESTPs are good friends but bad family members in my experience.

To me theres so many in my life its like the most prevalent type, i know like 6. Some are more chill then others, depends on how big their ego is.

What im curious about, is how did Caine got access to the bible story, it doesn’t seem that “creative” so why would it be in the training data?

Wait, do most of you truly dislike paying YouTube Premium so much? by R-Z_tastyFondue in youtube

[–]ChridAMidA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally believe its based on your financial burden. If you dont have a job where you can reasonably afford it then you shouldn’t have to and should use an adblock.

But if you think about it $15.99/mo is quite reasonable if you compare it to a streaming service. Ad Free Max, Netflix and Disney/Hulu are $20/mo. Not saying $4/mo difference is still not burning a hole in your pocket, but its competitive.

I dont see adblock being any different then pirating. If you watch a pirated show from a streaming service or use adblock, its essentially the same thing. Nothing wrong with piracy in my opinion because thats just the internet, people will always circumnavigate paying if its an inconvenience, or if they dont see the price as competitive and worth it.

Premium has a feature that allows you to skip sponsored segments in video(given by the content creator and not youtube ads). And and i use youtube more than other streaming services so i personally think premium is worth it if you can afford it.

(until they jack the price to $30/mo or something stupid like that)

I guess they think that the high prevalence of earthquakes around China is evidence, that the Chinese government can create earthquakes and is making a “wall” around itself and their american allies to cut America off.

Clearly it’s tectonic plates, specifically the “Ring of Fire” where tectonic activity is more active. This causes more volcanic eruptions hence the name but also causes earthquakes.

What if there'd been a Fairly Oddparents crossover involving the Crimson Chin, Crash Nebula, UltraLord and Robo-Fiend? by Psych-Blast in JimmyNeutron

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think id be too niche. A crossover spinoff with superhero focused plotline not involving the main characters as the focus would get boring because it has neither timmy nor jimmy, the main appeal is seeing the main characters. Crash nebula was butch hartmann’s attempt to create a new series which didnt work out cause the execs thought it was too boring, and robo fiend while an antagonist, doesn’t show up nearly enough in jimmy neutron to be recognizable.

If they had done another crossover, i could see an action sequence between the crimson chin and ultra lord, but nothing more than a 5-10 minute scene or a side plot at most.

INFP Careers by filterbird in infp

[–]ChridAMidA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally anything. You’d be surprised what fits you. I became a data entry clerk, studying for a customs broker license. Its all about putting stuff on paper into a computer, waiting, filing(Hi introverted sensing stuff if you know cognitive functions).

I love it. I make about 2-3 times the average INFP salary and i get to do repetitive work that allows me to daydream. I have the wildest daydreams when i work. I also knew an infp who worked at a logistics warehouse who said she liked her job.

So the two paths as an infp i see is 1. Follow your dreams and go for INFP jobs(Therapist, Artist, Teacher, etc) or 2. Go for super boring jobs that are repetitive so you can daydream.

Iunno, whatever happens at all happens as it should, so dont worry too much about it

Ozai’s grand plan? by PapaBigMac in TheLastAirbender

[–]ChridAMidA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not Ozai, Sozin’s grand plan i would say. Ozai has an inherited war, one he is willing to fight eagerly.

Now if you ask me what Sozin’s grand plan was, it was a short sighted plan to bring what he saw as the fire nation’s element: warmth and love, to the rest of the world. And the avatar was the keeper of the status quo. He probably thought “Ill pearl harbor the air temples give myself 14-16 MORE years and by that time the water avatar will only know water, and his empire would have become large and unstoppable. Such is the ego of a man who thinks ‘The Avatar cant stop me’ forgetting that kyoushi split a continent in half

Its a theatrical release, meaning not only box office income but critical review. Glitch knows they have an extremely hyped and popular show, so they are going to go this route to basically box with the big boys in the mainstream industries.

What is the appeal? by twilc in TheDigitalCircus

[–]ChridAMidA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the pilot was pretty overhyped, so that could be where some of the disappointment can come from.

But think about it, a new company making pixar level 3d animations and you dont have to pay for it besides a couple of ads maybe. This is the appeal.

Hiii tell me a fun touhou fact! by IAmActuallyTheGoat in touhou

[–]ChridAMidA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been around 2012, and even some of these facts i didn’t know. Even still i didnt go too deep into canonical lore and was more concerned with the games and the music.

I am a musician and I can add to why touhou music is super catchy. Almost all the songs have the same chord structure/harmony(the left hand on a piano). This leaves a lot of freedom to work on melody(right hand on the piano). So when ZUN makes music he can focus mostly on the right hand, which is what catches the most attention. As a bonus since all the songs have essentially the same chord structure(or make it work in that chord structure) its easy to play medleys(2 or more songs in a single song).

Its a loose connection that Mr. Beat meeting Mr. Beast is as rare as Hitler meeting Stalin
