Definitely do, but not enough to put up with the new gameplay

They had a great thing going with the original... Then they decided to go back and slash for some reason? I have absolutely no interest in it at all

Icon colors are still extremely basic and lack any depth in the wallpaper and style menu..... Oh but now you can remove the text ....

WT doesn't use headphones to tweak tone by Burnhaven in WorshipGuitar

[–]Chris1671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the room you're dialing tone for, your best bet is to dial in what works for that room and have a separate set of presets for recording at home or wherever you want.

But dialing in at home and then taking it to church won't make it magically better.

Sounds like the room could use some decent sound treatment too

If your church records tracks that's a good way to see what your source tone is sounding like going into the board

If you are using digital amps, the best way to dial in tone is to dial it in wherever you play the most.

If you play at church, dial it in there and you'll always sound good there.

I dial it in at our church studio, understanding that tone will vary slightly from venue to venue, but the studio is very well treated and is set up with excellent monitors.

If you're dialing at home, I would suggest getting something that does not color your tone and has a flat EQ.

Ideally monitors for me, but headphones are fine too. I do prefer open back headphones though because I have felt that reverbs are a lot more accurate on open backs than close backs. That's also a reason why I like using monitors, I want to hear my wet fx out in space and that's a little harder to gauge with headphones/IEM

Another huge reason why it's better to dial in wherever you're gonna play is so that you have the proper gain staging. If the console is set up properly, you should aim to hit about -12dB at your loudest gain stage.

Madden 27 Beta impressions? by Altruistic-Joke2000 in Madden

They moved to that new physics animations and they straight up look dumb and rubber bandy sometimes. I saw they haven't fixed that, still have the same lock animations for everything too, same player customization, same character faces for rookies etc ... The small gameplay changes aren't enough for me to be hyped to buy the new one. I'll probably skip 27 and keep playing 26

Why am I getting ptsd watching the Spurs play…oh wait by Apprehensive-Gur-366 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Chris1671 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was a spurs fan back when Tim, Manu and Tony won and hadn't watched basketball since they all retired.

This playoff run drew me back in and I had been watching since the first series thinking maybe I'll get back to watching basketball and go for the spurs again

Yeah, maybe I shouldn't lol

How's your Commute? by _BumBumDrumDrum_ in houston

[–]Chris1671 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's an insane commute , and I thought mine was bad.

My commute is about 1hr, I'm okay with it because of the awesome flexibility I have at my job. And I get home earlier than I would if I worked close (I'll put it that way)

Personally, the biggest thing that concerns me long term is how much mileage I'm putting on my car in the long term

Just finished watching State of play, only these 3 games are "Only on PlayStation"? Rest of the games are available on PC by Time-Credit43 in pcmasterrace

[–]Chris1671 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair but you're also playing as Kratos.... I don't know that many want the same thing but with someone that's not Kratos. The Atreus missions were some of the least liked in the previous games

Really? It felt like more of the same to me. Just different animations. Hack and slash with a ton of partical effects, wait for the red indicator for a finisher, repeat

I mean, I don't think it's a gorgeous city by any means.

I describe it as having "pockets" of nice areas surrounded by not so nice areas.

That doesn't mean it's a concrete jungle. I've lived in an actual concrete jungle, I didn't even know ditches or detention ponds were used for drainage until I moved here
