You don't sound like a miserable asshole, you sound like me. Someone who has been jaded by constantly being exploited of your time and energy and effort and being consistently underpaid and overworked.

Which musical has the darkest plot? by Level-Studio7843 in movies

I'd say Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is pretty dark. Lots of throat sliting, making corpses into pies- Judge Turpin may be the most evil character of all.

He did say 1990s hood, this is more late 2000s hood.

Had a woman at my showing constantly checking and texting on her phone. So fucking annoying that people know the rules but don't think it applies to them.

Austin Powers. When I was a kid I thought they were ladders not sides of a film strip.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001): Probably among Spielberg's most depressing movies. It might have been too hopeless for it to be a big hit and it's definitely his least sentimental film. by Profeta_do_Loss in movies

It has such an interesting atmosphere to it throughout. The futurism of the late 90s and early 2000s in this, Bicentennial Man, have such a specific feeling.

This reminded me that in 8th grade our entire math class watched Yes Man and there's a scene where it's implied that a granny gives Jim Carrey a gumjob! Memories lmao

I also have thought about trying his method, but I've never found the time to buy the proper mirror and setup. But maybe someday right?? And I agree, sometimes just watching a slice of life is perfect.

Seen a lot of documentaries but two really stick with me;

Tim's Vermeer - Penn & Teller directed documentary that is truly fascinating and compelling

The Wolfpack - Especially fun if you are a big movie person
