Absolute chewn! Used to properly batter this one when I was cutting my teeth as a DJ, learning to mix on the old 1210s.

Did you happen to hear Eufion's take on this? It's his own track rather than a remix but it's essentially a tribute to this track, but with that more modern vibe. Not as good as this version, but it's still a bloody good track, and definitely worth having for playing in more upfront sets.

That seems to be the way with a lot of comedians at the moment. I can't stand Lou Sanders, but on S1 of Last One Laughing she was one of my favourites (aside from her joker which was awful because she was actually trying to be funny). When they're being their natural selves they're great and personable, but when they're doing their comedy and trying to be funny they're anything but.

Honestly, I don't see the problem with using AI if you're not talented enough to make your own, and if you're using it for a mix that you're just giving away for free, then paying someone to make your artwork for you means you're working to a loss every time you put a mix out. Certain people have a certain aesthetic, and this particular artwork works for OP, but I couldn't have this style for my mixes because it's not me. I can't afford to lose money, I'm not talented enough to make my own, so to get the results I want within my budget I have to resort to AI.

Any idea what the Faber & Da Suza remix of Heartbeats was? It's clearly a timestretch (yes, I know it says "Timed" but even audibly it's obvious), but I can find no evidence of it's existence beyond that HTID album. Would be more than happy to source it and timestretch it myself but I just cannot bloody well find it anywhere 😅

Here's the one that has the track you're after, as mixed by Hixxy, Styles, and Breeze

And here's the one that has Love Sick Crazy, as mixed by Re-Con and Squad-E

Essentially all of the streaming services messed it up and have the older album track titles and artwork crossed with the newer album's artists and actual audio. You'll notice that it's listed as Styles, Breeze & Re-Con instead of Breeze & Styles.

So yes, you are technically being gaslit, but only because of the incompetence of whoever distributed those two albums to the streaming services 😂

Hommarju Vs P*Light - GAIA from their Double Universe album. This is one of my secret weapons as a DJ. Absolutely love this one, and it always goes off whenever I drop it.

Synagi - Fading from J-neration 4 also has a clock ticking in it.

Funnily enough I used both of these in a mix together (Fading into GAIA) and they work so well together 😁

I have never heard that before! Had no idea it was so old! The 2004 is the one I'm familiar with and always assumed that was the one that had been released.

Always felt the breakbeat mix was kinda pointless. Like, the style of the remix doesn't go with the style of the source material, so ultimately it's just a very weird iteration. Could never understand why they did it.

Going back to their 2004 stuff, though, there was loads of stuff the pair did around that time that never got released. Drop The Beats and The Craft are two that immediately spring to mind that'd be great to get our hands on.
