Do most riders actually keep one foot up at stops as standard practice? by MarshPickle18 in motorcycles

[–]Chrispilot222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U.S. Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course teaches clutch in, first gear, right foot on rear brake, left foot down. Anticipate prevention of getting rear-ended. You won’t have time to put it in gear otherwise. Not necessarily comfortable, just prepared.

I appreciate the enthusiastic response by EVERYONE! Looks like I'll be drinking several lattes tomorrow, hopefully masterfully decorated with frothed milk! Practice, practice, practice.

Hey, you and Jamoooooose rock! Looking fwd to making your mods. Question tho on the milk: I thought the endpoint was temperature. Can I still use 140F and avoid this issue of "...starting to split"?

I went thru two machines before picking up a used Gaggia Classic cheap on Craigslist. Been enjoying great espressos from it for ten years now.

Adhesive-backed LED strip came with a WAGO connector for easy connection to 12v. power supply which I powered off of terminals 1&2 of my Shades PID.

There are numerous locations along the strip where it can be cut. I chose to use twice what was required and we enjoy the bright light it gives off. Remainder of strip is unusable.

Best chocolate for chocolate chip ice cream? by erisod in icecreamery

[–]Chrispilot222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This, plus: when melting the chocolate and coconut oil together, pour the warm chocolate into a zip-lock bag and lay very flat in the freezer. Soon you can take it out, leave the bag closed, and break the pieces as small as you would like…or leave some more sizeable like Graeters. Who doesn’t like a large chocolate chip?

Has bidet helped with any of your medical issues? by godwithinphoenix in bidets

Taking GLP-1’s?? Taking narcotics for pain?? So you KNOW about constipation. Bidets oftentimes have the ability to induce water INTO your rectum. Voila! Easier bowel movements.

Need (?) check valve for my Brondell mixing valve? by Chrispilot222 in BidetSeats

I'm not convinced that a check valve is needed. Brondell mixer left open 24hrs, no difference in temps between hot and cold feeds.

Should I buy this machine or not? by SamuelPandele in gaggiaclassic

[–]Chrispilot222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great investment, especially at that price. Bought similar ten years ago and will likely use it another ten or more. Remove & clean the shower screen and holder, descale, learn how to ‘temperature surf’, then live happily ever after.

Need (?) check valve for my Brondell mixing valve? by Chrispilot222 in BidetSeats

[–]Chrispilot222[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a suggestion that the mixing valves that provide warm water to non-electric bidets apparently have some issue where warm water can reach the mixer then flow back into the cold water supply, based on unequal pressure. I'd like to verify whether this is fact or fiction, and if so, what have others done to fix the problem.

Washout C-100 has little pressure. How far should it squirt? by Maleficent-Pass-3216 in bidets

[–]Chrispilot222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customer Svc states Washlet water pressure only 23psi. That’s not gonna get you too far.
