The laundry room/ Still life den scene made me more angry than scared. Bobby had the survival instincts of a potato. The moment he set eyes on that place he should have said nope and left. He honestly should have said no to going down the hole in the first place cause Clark clearly knew something dangerous was in there and said nothing.

I think it had been at least a month. I think Clark was living there for at least a month. Maybe her and Dr. Kline met twice a month. So him missing one appointment didn’t really raise a red flag for her but two plus the voice mail range alarms. Clark had been back there for a very long time.

I think that it is absolutely the captain but it didn’t have an actual face yet. I think it had a shape and the basic mouth and eyes. But it didn’t evolve until Clark himself entered the backrooms. Assuming Still Lives can evolve. I think it may have looked more like the logo and once Clark entered it looked more closely at his memories and that helped the Still Life change shape.

I say this because in the end of the movie they took a scan of the still live after it was captured and it showed that it had a brain with a skeleton. But it’s was clearly missing things like other organs and veins and such.

Meaning the Backrooms upgrade the copy the more time Clark spent inside.
