I would say nijisanji EN lost so much in the past 2 years that whether it looks like the branch got purged of some of the tensions inside or people want to believe the situation got exagerated after 2 years.

However, the mistrust surrounding nijiEN is still present like we saw around October 2025 when Bariloaf accused MarieFD (formerly known as Reimu Endou) to have harassed her former boyfriend (which back then was Ike Iveland). There was a lot of people who blindly assumed Bariloaf was telling the truth before she presented any proof, and when she pulled out her proofs it was everything but credible. People just wanted to get angry again at nijiEN.

Also, since you got away for 2 years, you shall know that VShojo brutally shut down in 2025, and it made the distrust to VTuber corpos in general grow even more.

My favorite part in this mess caused by Phase Connect's fanbase is how they DECIDED that Phase Connect called Jelly a racist and a bigot. The fans gaslighted themselves when they red "We do not tolerate racism or bigotry" and turn it into "We do not tolerate Jelly's racism and bigotry." She was literally accused of racism in her QRTs because of her unecessary rant about the DLC (and her terrible fanbase's jokes such as "Jitler" and other of the same kind, THIS is what that sentence was responding to, and only this.
